  1. i had forgotten how much i would cringe at that sulley quote he'd keep in his sig about mozart and salieri sully is the only poster in nsbb history to be worse than meph, so it makes sense And yeah, Meph was behind the anti-site dedicated to a fringe Cubs message board.
  2. This might be the (relatively) nicest thing Meph ever posted:
  3. One guess as to who said this:
  4. I like how Meph's terrible grammar makes "Fuld sucks people" hysterical.
  5. Just do something like letting them be able to start an extra inning at some point with a "reset" offensive/defensive lineup.
  6. Look, Duke was just pointing out that Justin Grimm: decent pitcher was looking more and more like a fairy tale.
  7. Yeah, he says that, but meanwhile this is what's REALLY going on behind closed doors... http://i.imgur.com/vAhemYw.gif
  8. Seal Boy is heartbroken he didn't get a personal shout out.
  9. Didn't 2 Broke Girls get cancelled? Yeah, they really headed that one off at the pass after only 6 short seasons and 138 miserable episodes.

  11. horsefeathers Jake started, I think, the same game that my going to Cubs games-losing streak started, and he managed to ruin what was part of my brother's bachelor party when a bunch of us bought a ticket package to the Budweiser Patio, so I feel confident in saying that all of my enjoyment of going to a live Cubs game has been forever cursed because of that bearded bastard. Go suck a butt, Jake.
  12. I think literally any sitcom can survive on CBS. What the holy horsefeathers.
  13. horsefeathers, I would loved for him to go to any of them. I don't think he's going to age well at all.
  14. The biggest tragedy is that he probably didn't get any time in the bouncy castle as a precaution.
  15. Yup. I mean, I can get it if someone doesn't use or stops using FB because they're a shitty company run by a power-hungry robot with ill-fitting human skin and I gigantic hypocrite who keeps using it, but when people wail that they did it or want to do it like they have zero control over the deluge of awful or annoying horsefeathers showing up in their feed it just sounds...lazy. Only add the people you want to actually communicate with and hide/mute the people you feel obligated to accept a friend invite from but what nothing to do with. Like, nobody is forcing you to put up with this stuff.
  16. The problem is when those horsefeathers people are family. Hell no. You can just remove their horsefeathers from ever showing up on your timeline if you don't want to make unfriending them or not even friending them in the first place a thing; I'm not letting shitty family ruin the easiest way I can keep in touch with people. I basically moved every 2-3 years, often to a different country, my whole life until I was 30; FB is perfect for being able to keep contact with the people I want to from all of that.
  17. Every time I see someone complaining about the deluge of crap on their feed I kinda can't help but think, "damn, just exercise a little quality control. It's REALLY easy to not friend or like shitty things/people and to set privacy settings."
  18. Yeah, I'm old and lame as horsefeathers and there's no way I'm giving up Facebook. What I need to actually keep in touch with people outside of likes and pithy comments? Get the horsefeathers out of here.

  20. I'm pretty sure that's barbicide.
  21. DISAPPOINTMENT: http://fratospizza.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Cubs-Pizza-Logo-10-2016-web.png
  22. winning a world series was always the thing, but the impressive thing about theo's run is how quickly he completely flipped the expectations for the organization. Yeah, exactly; being disappointed with last year is like being disappointed that that, I don't know, the delicious free pizza delivered right to your door took 45 minutes instead of 30. And horsefeathers yeah I made this horsefeathers about pizza. PIZZA IS EVERYTHING.
  23. You can be disappointed in the outcome, but that doesn't classify the team as a disappointment. Those are entirely unfair and unrealistic expectations. It's ok to have them as a fan, but they don't define the team. For each person? Sure it does; it's a relative a disappointment. Nobody is saying, "the team sucked," but relative to my hopes/expectations as to how the season would go I was disappointed. The first half was frustrating and the playoffs mostly were not enjoyable to me, especially (obviously) with how it ended. Again, doesn't mean anyone is saying they were a bad team, so don't worry. As pointed out, it's awesome that THIS is the kind of thing people can be disappointed over.
