...when he's coming home after the game winner and Soriano is showing off the incredible vertical leap with the rest of the team behind him? The ones posted so far stretch to a decent computer desktop, but I'm curious if anyone found a bigger version. I've also seen versions slightly smaller that are clearly much brighter. What are the best and largest versions everyone has found?

One game does not a starting player make. That said, his plate appearances and swing did look sharper this time than it has recently, and Lou talked about that as well after the game. That said, even with an improved appearance, barring a total miracle, he's simply not an everyday answer at SS or 2nd. And as for Murton...he looked so brutal defensively in RF. Is he playing LF down in the minors?

Ending the first half of the season with another 7 game win streak sounds like a good idea to me. Do it to it, Cubs!

I see no reason to make him the closer now. His stuff looks great, but I'd much rather have him where he can be used in potentially more dangerous spots in the 6th-8th innings, especially since he can go 2. It's not like we need to replace Dempster, nor has he played himself out of the spot. I think right now, Marmol makes the 'pen stronger by being available earlier.

Did you see the first inning? Yeah, when the broken bat flying at him. Does he have a bruise on his cheek? I can't tell if he does or if my TV just sucks.

Its better than it might be. I'm still a little tentative. I think a lot of people (myself included) are still waiting for the other shoe to drop. Thats fine, but its been half a season. He's a 5th starter and worth every bit of the money he's being paid this year. I'm not gonna complain if he keeps doing OK, but isn't he pretty notrious for sliding especially hard in the 2nd half of a season?

Marmol was pure filth that inning. Absolutely nasty. Maybe they're playing it safe with Marquis because of the broken bat incident? Is my TV crappy, or does he have a bruise on his cheek?

Yes. Both Hill and Marshall are good pitchers who sucked in their most recent starts. THAT'S WHAT I SAID. Jesus Christ. I was agreeing with you. Settle down, skippy. Sorry. I ended my post with "am I wrong" and then you seemingly replied with "yes," so I thought you were trying to have the same sideways non-argument with me sulley is. would you stop being so insulting? no one's out to get you. Insulting? Look, this is two days in a row where people are jumping on me for making "ridiculous statements" when I don't think I have. I'll be the first to cop to my hyperbole 'cuz Lord knows I revel in it sometimes. It just gets annoying when people start nitpicking my posts for no reason at all.
