Wow, thanks, guys! I really need to go read up on my Lou history...I had no clue he grew up speaking Spanish. I assumed his name was Italian.

I recall he does a little bit. Lou is perfectly fluent in Spanish. That's what I thought I had heard. Surprised me, to be honest. Not that a coach or manager knows at least a little Spanish, just that he's apparently fluent in it.

Days when we don't have Aramis in the lineup make me nervous. I really hope Hendry can find a way to inject some hitting power in this lineup if they're really gonna make a run.

Except tearing up AAA this season... Somthing Theriot never did. And why do some people talk like Theriot has "proven" himself at the ML level? He's had limited success in a relatively short period of time, just like Cedeno did before he unfortunately took a tumble at the plate.

That's not a fact. Not even close.

I was ready to make him the closer before tonight. Forget the interim tag. Then you'd be taking him out of too many spots where he'd be much more useful. More often than not, the closer isn't pitching in the toughest relief spots.

Ok. Did you miss my point? Theriot is 27 years old. When he was the same age as Cedeno, he was plying his trade in single A. Cedeno was 23 last season when you said he sucked, yet Theriot is just having growing pains. If anything, the opposite is true. Theriot at 27 is likely at his peak, since most players begin their peak at 27. His peak is below average. Cedeno didn't perform last year. That is true, but he was 23 years old. What Cedeno is hitting at AAA, Theriot hasn't approached at any level. So, if Theriot is experiencing growing pains, then Cedeno is too. Are you really this dense, or do you just get a hard on for a player and can't see the truth? They have relatively the same ML experience. And...? Cedeno had his ML experience at a MUCH younger age than Theriot. Why isn't Cedeno just having "growing pains?" Cedeno has also put up better minor league numbers. Again, why is Theriot going through "growing pains" despite his mediocre minor league career and limited ML success, but Cedeno is "just bad" even though he's a better minor leaguer and also had short lived ML success?

When I was still living in DC, I've seen all the Cubs games there up until this point. Last year, however, wasn't so much fun when they showed up and got swept. The only bright spot was Aramis jacking out home runs like the park was the tiniest in the league.

Thanks for the bigger version! Not to sound ungrateful, but I've seen smaller versions that are significantly brighter. Anyone else seen that, but larger?
