  1. Santana is wasted on the Mets.
  2. Yeah, I remember that. What the hell was that, anyway? A fuel compay, apparently.
  3. The only sign I care about/miss is Torco. Come back, mysterious Torco. As a kid in the pre-internet days, Torco was an enigma. It was just there, yet symblized nothing.
  4. Yeah, he is really scalding the ball. Definitely. He got robbed on the last one by a perfectly timed jump.
  5. Wouldn't not being injured in all of these events indicate a higher power DOESN'T have it out for Bradley?
  6. You aren't the only person to pretend that nonsense has value, so I won't hold it against you, or any other knuckle dragging WWE fans. But it's really idiotic to think something like that helps a sport. Value? What are you talking about? My comment was clearly tongue in cheek in how over the top it was (why would anyone seriously think a weird reliever "makes baseball better" and how would that even mke any sense?) and referring to how I find his quirks entertaining. Weird, "crazy" players have always been around and they entertain me regardless of who they play for. Though classy move on your part declaring me to be an idiot and a wrestling fan just becase Valverde offends your delicate senibilities and someone else dares to not be annoyed by him. So now you admit what you said was untrue? There was no truth or untruth to it in the first place, but hell, if you want to play it that way, yes, I definitely think baseball is always better off having a few really weird players scattered around for entetainment-value. We get it, you don't like teams celebrating a walkoff win against the Cubs and you don't like Valverde. Other people don't mind the former since every team celebrates a walkoff or actually even get a kick out of a really weird player.
  7. Again, why keep Bradley in the game? If you're putting Gathright into CF, moved Fuku over to RF for the 9th.
  8. He also doesn't seem to be seeing pitches well at all.
  9. yeah... You sure went out on a limb with that one. Yeah, he sure called a good AB where he likely would have had another single if the pitcher didn't snag it. That hotshot nailed it.
  10. You guys hit this joke into the dirt a page ago.
  11. It's annoying, but at this age downward trends in his hitting have a really good chance of continuing and getting worse.
  12. Fukubullet! Now let's avoid a Lee DP, please.
  13. OK, it's on channel 10 on Chicago Comcast, it's just not listed on the guide.
  14. What channels is this on on Comcast Chicago? I don't have HD, so 285 is no good.
