You aren't the only person to pretend that nonsense has value, so I won't hold it against you, or any other knuckle dragging WWE fans. But it's really idiotic to think something like that helps a sport. Value? What are you talking about? My comment was clearly tongue in cheek in how over the top it was (why would anyone seriously think a weird reliever "makes baseball better" and how would that even mke any sense?) and referring to how I find his quirks entertaining. Weird, "crazy" players have always been around and they entertain me regardless of who they play for. Though classy move on your part declaring me to be an idiot and a wrestling fan just becase Valverde offends your delicate senibilities and someone else dares to not be annoyed by him. So now you admit what you said was untrue? There was no truth or untruth to it in the first place, but hell, if you want to play it that way, yes, I definitely think baseball is always better off having a few really weird players scattered around for entetainment-value. We get it, you don't like teams celebrating a walkoff win against the Cubs and you don't like Valverde. Other people don't mind the former since every team celebrates a walkoff or actually even get a kick out of a really weird player.
