A healthy Cub team playing to near their abilities blows this Cardinal team away. Wait, wait, wait...what's hilarious about what he said? You honestly think this team healthy and the players performing even just close to expected levels would not be a good team?
why is that so weird? Usually it's more like... bye, take care, thanks for coming, go Cubs .... wasn't really concerned about my safety at that point, but I guess you can never be too careful Maybe he's a werewolf and he was giving you a heads up.
I saw him in AA have three or four passed balls in one game. He's that bad. Yeah, catcher is (despite that's what he came up as) by far the worst of the defensive positions he can be put at. It's far too important a position and he has too much trouble with the "catch" part of catching.
I don't care how he feels about the knee pain: if it's there, he's gotta go on the DL to try and deal with it. It's not rocket science to think that the knee pain is likely a huge part, if not THE reason, for his prolonged offensive struggles.
In terms of cultural and musical impact, it's Elvis and not even close. In terms of fame just sheer recognizability everywhere around the globe for almost three decades and all that that stuff entails, I think it's Jackson and not even close (though he's then trumped by the Beatles in this regard). I think Elvis is hampered in that latter regard by never touring outside of the US.
