  1. I know I am. At the very least the knee issues are not helping him get of the slump.
  2. A healthy Cub team playing to near their abilities blows this Cardinal team away. Wait, wait, wait...what's hilarious about what he said? You honestly think this team healthy and the players performing even just close to expected levels would not be a good team?
  3. Is swagger more important than chemistry?
  4. why is that so weird? Have a blessed day. meh, stay safe is completely different than have a blessed day Ba weep gawna weep mini-bong.
  5. why is that so weird? Usually it's more like... bye, take care, thanks for coming, go Cubs .... wasn't really concerned about my safety at that point, but I guess you can never be too careful Maybe he's a werewolf and he was giving you a heads up.
  6. why is that so weird? Have a blessed day.
  7. Grace and Farnsworth were prowling outside with their rape van.
  8. On the upisde, I thought it was only the 5th inning, so they're actually a whole inning closer to just getting this thing over.
  9. Really, no chemistry whatsoever. I blame the lack of astrophysics.
  10. Brilliant bullpen management here. This really is something special.
  11. Horrible play, but Pujols would have still scored if Ragdoll McNoRange made the catch instead.
  12. Since he broke out as a starter, I wouldn't be surprised if it was.
  13. I saw him in AA have three or four passed balls in one game. He's that bad. Yeah, catcher is (despite that's what he came up as) by far the worst of the defensive positions he can be put at. It's far too important a position and he has too much trouble with the "catch" part of catching.
  14. I don't care how he feels about the knee pain: if it's there, he's gotta go on the DL to try and deal with it. It's not rocket science to think that the knee pain is likely a huge part, if not THE reason, for his prolonged offensive struggles.
  15. If that's lead off by a Fukudome-Bradley 1-2 then me like.
  16. The leadoff hitter doesn't control the rest of the team, good or bad.
  17. In terms of cultural and musical impact, it's Elvis and not even close. In terms of fame just sheer recognizability everywhere around the globe for almost three decades and all that that stuff entails, I think it's Jackson and not even close (though he's then trumped by the Beatles in this regard). I think Elvis is hampered in that latter regard by never touring outside of the US.
