  1. One Molina hits with the power of all three.
  2. Pujols, you big fat anus. They should have started Haren.
  3. Soriano is going to murder all of these people.
  4. Am I the only one that saw that the game itself wasn't going to start until 7:30? That's been said all along.
  5. I agree with the Lilly thing. I would be upset if Pujols wasn't booed at a Wrigley Field All-Star game. Exactly. The Cardinals/Cubs rivalry is one of the oldest in baseball. I'd be let down if players from either weren't booed if the ASG is hosted at one of their stadiums. MATT KUNTZ FTW.
  6. Love the booing of Lilly. Wouldn't have it any other way. Marquis being there is absurd.
  7. So evil he only needs his ear to use the axe.
  8. IS THERE ANYTHING HE WON'T DESTROY?!?
  9. Maybe the anti-Soriano crowd have been on to something in regards to the dark side of Soriano's personality. Behind the smiles and the friendly facade lurks a soulless monster the likes of which the Cubs haven't seen since Todd Walker: http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a47/madhops_42/sorianochallenger.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/rocketsaucetd/mansonfamily1_0.jpg http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h273/IowaTD/sorianojaws.jpg http://img115.imageshack.us/img115/2649/lincoln.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/rocketsaucetd/sorianoabughraib.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v198/rocketsaucetd/mlk.jpg http://img115.imageshack.us/img115/2171/oklahoma.jpg http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h273/IowaTD/soriano911.jpg http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h273/IowaTD/sorianonam.jpg http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h273/IowaTD/sorianotitanic.jpg http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h273/IowaTD/sorianolennon.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/suleyman21/pearlharbor_headline.jpg HISTORY'S GREATEST MONSTER. He's clearly worn out this season from his neverending spree of time-travel and MURDER.
  10. Yeah, because it would be much better to see a player who the Cubs pointlessly wasted trade parts on do the same thing.
  11. 2008: 4 days: 2.53 5 days: 1.24 6+ days: 2.47 career: 4: 3.77 5: 3.61 6+: 2.78 It's basically for this reason that a lot of us were happy with how the Cubs seemed to be indicating they were going to give Harden more rest throughout the seaosn, either by pushing his days back or skipping his turn in the rotation from time to time, but they didn't follow through will that at all. Outside of his DL time they've basically kept him on schedule for most of the season.
  12. Hopefully none after tonight.
  13. You're talking the unremarkable past success of an older player. It would be a waste of prospects. Nobody is going to argue that Fontenot to this point this season has been a huge letdown but he still has a good chance to show much improvement now that he's back at 2nd and if played in a strict platoon with Baker.
  14. So why waste anything on other team's crap if we already have our own crap?
  15. what have they done since cleaning house to make you think they're a brutal front office? trading sanchez is the right move for them, if they can get some value. he's 31 years old, doesn't have much power and his stats are very BABIP-dependent because he doesn't walk a lot. plus he might be in line to make $8M next season. agreed. I actually am a big fan of what the new GM has done for the pirates. It actually looks like they are going in the right direction, FINALLY. Right. It will be so awesome when we are all here in 2 years on a "McCutchen trade rumors" thread. McCutchen will be 24 in 2 years. Why would they be looking to move him them as they are doing with the 31-year-old Sanchez now?
  16. I thought Aramis' reactions were less from pain and more from him swinging at absolute garbage.
