    Really? Wrigley Field is the reason we haven't won since 1908? I find that extremely hard to believe. Good, because that's not what I'm talking about. I agree with him that Wrigley's facilities for the players, home and away, are crap, and I agree that the Cubs have a shitty schedule due to them playing too many day games. Am I saying that those are THE reasons they haven't won a WS in over a century? Of course not, but I think they are valid criticisms, and I think that they are factors, however relatively small, that have contributed to this being a crappy organization over the years. There are much, much, much bigger issues and problems that have sidetracked the Cubs, but that doesn't mean what Rolen brings up aren't also problems in and of themselves.

    Carlos Boozer is the next Ron Mercer. Overrated, declining and injury-prone. This is going to suck. Boozer is overrated? That's a new one.

    No. It just doesn't seem realistic at all. I understand these guys wanting to play together, but one of them would be missing out on a ton of money to do so. Plus it just doesn't seem too likely that LeBron would go to a team that already has someone like Wade "leading" them. That's Wade's team.

    I'm sorry, but what has Colvin done that indicates he should be hitting ahead of Soriano already? People rail on Soriano for his OPS, but my God, he's positively Dunn-like compared to Colvin so far. And you're hindering the Cubs chances to get the "3-4 hitters" they need by already slotting Colvin into a corner OF spot.

    The Cubs forced Baseball America at gunpoint to rank him the 2nd best prospect in baseball. The Cubs' hype machine shows no mercy.

    That wasn't something "created" by the Cubs. Corey was a highly regarded prospect around baseball.

    Why trade Soto? Why trade Gorzelanny? Why trade Wells? I understand the "back the truck up" mentality, and sure, I guess if a team out there is really blowing the Cubs away with an offer for those guys, but why seek to dump cheap, young, productive players?
