  1. That guy would make amazing meth.
  2. Ew. Going from Coleman to Russell. Quade throwing in the towel in the 5th.
  3. Aramis showing this little power this far into May is really depressing. Not as bad as last year, but still.
  4. Oh, OK, NOW that sinker is a strike...as opposed to other dozen times he's hit that spot. Good to know.
  5. Coleman is Coleman, but that's 3 AB's now where he's been squeezed out of strike 3.
  6. The National League REALLY sucks. The Cubs are 6th in OPS+ and 3rd in OPS. Plus you left out Berkman.
  7. Welp, this game already seems like a waste of time on a rare day off.
  8. What a dumb comparison.
  9. probably backloaded with a NTC bet he signed the contract in icing. LULZ The whole thing was drawn up on an unfolded Krispy Kreme box. Prior strained his groin after he and Davis were rubbing vaginas in between simulated games.
  10. Considering we were the only chance to beat the Heat, I wouldn't be taking pleasure in this if I was you. The Celtics were the only team in the playoffs that could beat Miami?????? Given that the Heat are playing their best basketball right now, yes, the Celtics probably had the best shot (if healthy) of the east teams of taking down a Heat team firing on all cylinders. Look, I love the Bulls, and I hope to God that they pull this off and my prediction of them losing in 5-6 games is wrong, but I'm worried that the Bulls peaked too early and now they're facing a team peaking at the right time. Maybe the Heat are playing their best basketball right now, but I am not overly impressed with their play right now. Then I can only assume you've been flat out horrified with the Bulls' playoff performances outside of, like, 2 games.
  11. How is that even relevant? It's $900k for one season.
  12. Because even just a brief glance shows that Baker has been a much better hitter against LH pitchers for a while now. Why would you want Reed over Soriano, Byrd or Baker when all are hitting lefities much better than he is? Johnson should be used almost strictly as a PH/defensive replacement at this point.
  13. I really wish they'd just leave Castro hitting #2 and stop [expletive] around.

  15. The sort who remain undaunted by even the most intense plantain chip barrages. Winnnnnnnerrrrrrrrr.
  16. Zambrano's still awesomely enthusiastic and it's all he's ever known. Those people are resilient.
  17. The organization has already essentially said that Castillo will get a bunch of starts while Soto is on the DL.
  18. The $900k spent on Davis this year doesn't impede the money they can spend next year. Davis likely/hopefully isn't going to get a ton of starts (though almost certainly more than the 2-3 you place him at), so why start the clock on Jackson for such a limited window?
  19. It would be more logical to save money and bring up Jay Jackson, someone with a future with this team. How is that logical when the Davis situation is based out of a lack of pitching depth that you don't want to start the clock on?
  20. Who said they don't want Davis to start instead of Russell? People are saying that they hope Cashner doesn't lose his rotation spot because of Davis. Seemingly out the fear of him simply being bumped up and maybe being promised $900k out of necessity.
