  1. Well, he's ranking them based on general entertainment/spectacle value. The Bears' win was glorious for Bears fans, but it was probably pretty damn boring for most everyone else.
  2. I hope it blinds SSR. Like right before he was somehow going to see Tree's sister naked.
  3. Ah well. Fun game to watch.
  4. Boozer is set to maximum goofy.
  5. Yeah, if there's anything I hate it's too many offensive rebounds. Don't be an ass. If you saw that sequence you know what I meant. I saw it. It's a goofy thing to complain about. That's not complaining. w/e; dc
  6. What the fudge happened.
  7. Yeah, if there's anything I hate it's too many offensive rebounds. Don't be an ass. If you saw that sequence you know what I meant. I saw it. It's a goofy thing to complain about.
  8. COME ON, LET'S GET NUTS.
  9. You wanna get nuts?
  10. Yeah, if there's anything I hate it's too many offensive rebounds.
  11. GIVE ME THAT TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
  12. Regardless of the outcome, this has been an enjoyable way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.
  13. When they're on the Heat are pretty damn fun to watch.
  14. How can anyone hate or not understand that this exists? It's glorious. I hope the Marlins hit a million home runs.
  15. I'd have to assume that almost any player would leap at the chance to clear up (HI-YOOOOOOO!) something like this if all it meant is revealing they were taking some medicine to treat their herp.
  16. Don't distract from my attempted question; why would he take a suspension for 50 games and the stigma of being a 'roid-head to try and hide that he has herpes?
  17. Wait, what? We're talking about herpes. Herpes-berpes-bo-berpes-banna-fanna-fo-ferpes....HERPES.
  18. The culture certainly has some to do with it, but I don't think it's as negative a force as some out there think. Since doing the RBI stuff in Jackson I've never gotten the vibe that they dislike baseball, they are just indifferent to it. A lot really do like it though and jump at the opportunity to play. Yeah, this is really why things like RBI are so valuable; it's really not an issue of the kids actively disliking baseball. Most of them simply don't even consider it in the first place.
  19. I have no idea. All I know is I see Kevin Love all the [expletive] time in NBA promos and in commercials and on ESPN. I have no clue how I'm supposed to measure that to Kevin Garnett's "marketing" while he was in Minnesota.
  20. HOW IS KEVIN LOVE NOT BEING "MARKETED?"
  21. I'm aware, but nothing is going to be a cure all. Expecting baseball to do a ton more is pretty noble, but crazy. They're businesses and it makes a lot more sense for them to set up baseball academies in other countries. I'm not sure how anyone can change that? Uh, what? It's MLB that really wants to get these kids into baseball because it's good for their business. They're missing out on a ton of amazing athletes that they want playing baseball. I have no idea why you're acting like this is something that MLB is being forced or pressured to do; they WANT to do it. Of course, if they really wanted the amazing talent then they probably wouldn't have adopted the new CBA where teams can't offer the players 7-10 million to get them to sign with the club. So I'm guessing a lot of them are going to stick with football or basketball. The CBA is going to have minimal impact in that regard; the minor leagues even existing is one of the biggest hurdles. Basketball and football are seen as being sports where if you have the talent you're going to break in right away after college.

I have no idea why you're acting like this is something that MLB is being forced or pressured to do; they WANT to do it. I know they want to do it, I'm just not sure what they can really do? And the basketball thing is just a peeve of mine. I'm not sure why the NBA isn't blasted more for not marketing it's white stars more. For example, how many people know Kevin Love is one of the best players in the world? They can help provide the facilities and equipment and coaches needed, and it's gone a long way already. I have no idea what the "marketing white players" thing has to do with anything. Love is in plenty of NBA spots and tons of commercials.
