  1. So you think he, what, hurt himself intentionally? Or he's dogging it? He's lying about how hurt he is?
  2. You've lost respect for a player who played a ton because now he's older and gets hurt a lot? I think so, yea. Weird.

  4. brewer is a better basketball player than bogans, but bogans actually provided more to this team offensively than brewer does, as crazy as that sounds. at least bogans knocked down the open 3's at a good rate. defenses sag off brewer like crazy because he's completely useless on the offensive end. i don't see any way we score enough points to win 4 series' against good team if brewer is starting at the 2. we can afford to lose defense there to upgrade offensively. i still would have liked crawford over hamilton. we don't really have an irrational-confidence chuckers on this team, so we can afford adding one. jr smith would have been nice too. Nobody wants Brewer as the starting 2. I just disagree with guys like cubbyvirus who talk up these grandiose trade needs like he's continually on the verge of panic every time they lose a game. The Bulls need scoring improvement humps like Watson and Korver and the injury riddled Rip. It's an obvious need, but garbage like "basketball hell" is laughably ridiculous. And I really don't get how Bogans was more valuable offensively, at least not at any kind of significant level. Ugh, not that it even matters; they're both hideous.
  5. That article does absolutely nothing to explain who you think the Bulls should or even can "back the truck up/blow the team up" for or how they're going to get "free agent all stars" to want to come here.
  6. So what do you expect them to do? They can't force guys to come here/stay here. I want them to make a move, but I don't want them flipping out and actually "backing up the truck" on a deal that doesn't merit it (and pretty much all of the ones proposed that aren't Howard don't, and he's not coming here).
  7. woah, blast from the past. new deltron album coming out Man, I'll believe it when I see it. Dan the Automator had a pretty amazing streak going for a while there.
  8. And holy [expletive] Hell, Bogans isn't better than anyone.
  9. What's brilliant is your idea that they "trade anyone." It's like you want them to go out there and force a bad deal just so long as it addresses one need.
  10. Arizona is not Marmol's friend even when he's good.
  11. Whoa, slow down; Tim doesn't want to burn any bridges before 414sports.com is up and running.
  12. Shot horribly but almost had a triple double. Fucked around.
  13. Yeah, they nailed a lot of little touches. Little Bartman shout-out, too. Where was Bartman in this commercial? I thought the guy alone on the roof looking off at Wrigley in the distance at the :31 mark is supposed to be him. Freezing the clip it doesn't look like he has glasses on or a turtleneck under his jacket like I thought.
  14. He was locked in to 3 more years over there when he was drafted.
  15. I keep trying to forget he exists because I want him over here now. The waiting suuuuuuucks.
  16. Yeah, I'm on the red line past Wrigley on my way to and from work every day and I figured they were just doing work. I'm pissed I didn't find a way to be in this.
  17. Yeah, they nailed a lot of little touches. Little Bartman shout-out, too.
  18. Was this during the day? I can't believe I wouldn't have noticed anything. You're kidding, right?
  19. Did you time travel back to one of other winters?

  21. Think about the times you've heard the phrase used around this board: it's used in regards to effectively scrapping a hopelessly flawed team and starting over. The Bulls are nowhere near that kind of team. One of their key strengths is how deep their team is, so an advantage they have if they make a blockbuster deal like the ones being proposed is that it's NOT "blowing up the team," especially given the players ideally coming back. I have no idea why you keep using that term like the team needs to be overhauled, or seemingly like they'd be getting nothing back and they'd be dangerously depleted.
