I was looking at this yesterday after enjoying the recent streak and it's kind of funny that even with the recent really terrific production his K rate is over 30%. Triumph over adversity.

Yeah the reality is that we're posting on message boards and he's had a long-time career on many levels of baseball, but in you go ahead and keep believing that you're smarter than he is and he's just been lucky all of his life. At least I understand that this message board is for entertainment purposes. It's a shame that you really believe that the fact that you post every 30 seconds somehow makes you smarter than the rest of the world. "My God," he thought, "it's dumb as [expletive] in here."

He's pretty unremarkable in the booth, but the alternatives could easily be a LOT worse, so I guess it's cool he's sticking around. I couldn't imagine someone hiring him as a manager at this point; it's been nearly a decade since he was last working as one, and it doesn't seem like his rep from that single stint is all that great. -
