me too. In fact, I think I photoshopped the skyline view from cabrini at some point, but god knows where that is anymore. Yeah, that was one of the main reasons I wanted it there; whenever I've been to PNC I love the view from the stadium of the downtown area. Wrigley is basically facing the wrong way and has a wonderful view of the turds across the street and that's it. Plus you'd still have bus and train access and a revitalizing neighborhood and ideally Wrigleyville would drown under a tidal wave of frat puke.

Man, that best of 19 World Series in 2003 would have been BRUTAL. 7 of those games came before the World Series, which is 7 more post season games than the Cubs won since Hendry went into spendthrift mode. The main thing separating Kenny Willians and Jim Hendry are 5 wins in 2003. Your posts are just torturous bits of anti-logic. -

There was never any chance of it happening, but I would have loved if they had dropped a new stadium onto the remnants of Cabrini Green.

His statement was that Valbuena's value goes beyond what his stats can track, to which I said you CAN track exactly what he was praising...which you then showed. And dude's been fawning over him for a while. It's amusing.

For the love of [expletive]. How is it so difficult to grasp that some people would simply be annoyed if the White Sox win? Not wanting them to win isn't "playing into" anything; White Sox fans are going to be awful regardless, so I'd prefer the option that gives them nothing.

Defensively, yes, I've got no issues with him. I don't really have a "problem" with him at all; the Cubs need a cheap, serviceable placeholder at 3B and ideally he can fit the bill. I'm just amused by anyone fawning over him.
