  1. More night games is ALWAYS the right choice.
  2. No jorts qualification? Boo. Though good on you for leaving out cargo pockets. Those people are horrible bums.
  3. Morgan, easily, and that is said with the full recognition that McCarver is worse than chalk-white dog [expletive].
  4. PS: I chose "other."
  5. UP YOUR BUTT. SLAM.
  6. I disagree with the way tice called the game, instead of pouring it on a blowing the lions out, we stalled and played chicken [expletive] Cutler said that there were some throws he just could not make and that the game was called the way that it was out of necessity. They definitely slammed on the breaks but it would more out of necessity than anything else, as others noted. i just don't want them getting into a habit of shutting it down whenever they get a lead and then relying completely on their defense to win the game, as they've done in the past. it puts undue strain on the old defensive players that could otherwise benefit from a blowout. But as it's been pointed out, they clearly didn't do it out of a sense of "oh, we've got this in hand, let's just let the defense finish things up." They did it because they had to because their QB was playing injured.
  7. gifs are fun. why would i block fun things? I don't know? I was replying to all of the people complaining about the gifs.
  8. gifs are fun. why would i block fun things? Yeah, I don't want to block them all. They just shouldn't be that size in sigs. It's also kind of lame considering it's of a cheap shot on the franchise QB of the team that 90% of the people on this board cheer for. You don't have to block them all; it's exceedingly simple to pick which ones to block.
  9. How can so many people have no clue as to how to block gifs in their browsers?

  11. God, can you just imagine how absurdly nasty this defense would be if he were even 2011 Urlacher? I'm really don't want to, because then I will be sad.
  12. The "need?" The "need" is try to rattle the guy at the very least. You try to get away with anything you can when hitting someone.
  13. Relatively speaking. You're right, he definitely looked a LOT better than the previous games, but he still looks like a shell of his former self.
  14. Man, that was a seriously badass tackle. If that was a Bear tackling someone else it would be straight up porn.
  15. Yes, in football they do it in the days leading up to a game. They don't "hide" a more serious injury by just tossing a guy back out there behind an insanely vulnerable OL to play an entire half.
  16. Which accomplishes what? Silly me!!! The Bears have always been 100% forthright with injuries. Explain how you possibly think this benefits them to hide that he has a worse injury BY HAVING HIM PLAY AN ENTIRE HALF WITH THAT INJURY.
  17. I take any and all division wins. That defense was incredible. It was, but we also got really lucky with the red zone blowups/turnovers. Don't know what Bell was thinking extending where he extended. It's not luck. It's the entire defensive game plan. Joique Bell extending his arms and putting the ball in harms way when nowhere near the goalline was the game plan? I understand that this defense thrives on takeaways and that it is not luck that we consistently have gotten them for just about all of the past 8+ seasons. That doesn't mean that we don't sometimes get lucky. Gotta capitalize on mistakes.
  18. Which accomplishes what? "Jay, go out there and play with your worse injury so we can trick...somebody...for some reason...." "..." "Just do it!"
  19. Webb gets more attention because he's playing the most important position on the line and he's so horrible bad at it. Carimi's a rookie, and to say "about time" like you think people have just been shrugging it off and nobody's said anything to him is just stupid. Webb was great tonight, and been pretty good the past few games. Nobody's really mentioned his name, so that's always a good thing for a left tackle. The line was NOT "great" tonight. Webb's range is from "terrible" to "Cutler can survive."
  20. I'm saying the team was lucky that Joique Bell decided to do something really stupid there. And the Lions were lucky they didn't have even more turnovers.
  21. Webb gets more attention because he's playing the most important position on the line and he's so horribley bad at it AND he's been a jackass about it. Carimi's a rookie, and to say "about time" like you think people have just been shrugging it off and nobody's said anything to him is just stupid.
  22. I hate the Panthers for existing. And that they made my awesome tickets look slightly less awesome since we're getting crappy Cam Newton.
  23. Wait, at this point how can you declare the defense as being "lucky" with their turnovers? The Lions made mistakes, but they didn't occur in a vacuum; they made those mistakes largely because of what the defense was doing.
  24. Are you trying to understand why its not a big deal when the team that won the World Series last year blows a 3-1 lead, and it is when a team that hasn't gone to a world series in 58 years and hasn't won in 95 years (at the time) blows it? I already understand. I'm just trying to figure out how so many can't understand. The answer is: it doesn't matter what your situation. A 3-1 lead is not insurmountable. Stop babbling.
