  1. More bad luck which hurts when your team isn't that good. How many wild pitches can we have in an inning? You know what hurts a lot more than bad luck? Walking guys.
  2. Really? You get the guy 0-2 and end up walking him with a wild pitch?
  3. Hahahaahahah! That's great.
  4. Any particular reason why? He's lost 4 mph from his fastball from his Cy Young years, I have to think he's near cooked. Lincecum the late inning reliever is an interesting idea to me though. just more the idea of him regaining form from his 4 win years; he's still getting Ks and even had pretty decent periphs last year Not to belabor the point, but his velocity has dropped 4 MPH in the last two seasons. Plus he's got those command issues, which seem based out of him having to maintain the timing of his funky mechanics. It seems like he's stronger in short bursts now than over starts.

Yeah, if the Cubs went after him I'd want it as a reliever or maybe a closer and that's it. The velocity dip is scary.
  6. Definitely!! Why not just let him play everyday the next 10 games or so? Get tired of the platoon thing, especially when one guy is on fire, and the other side of the platoon is doing squat. There's a really good chance that one guy in the platoon is "on fire" largely because of the platoon. Continue to play to his strengths. Yeah, I get that, but throw him out there against some lefties and see how he does. Maybe find out he never got enough of a chance to prove he can play everyday. They have nothing to lose, and maybe a lot to gain by trying it..... Probably best to just stick to the platoon and let him ride it out.
  7. I doubt decreasing velocity is a side effect of enjoying some weed.

  10. Someone forgot to put a "blocking the ball" chapter in The Cubs Way. Better create another file!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. When did Starlin start wearing his socks correctly?
  12. They should put that teacher in detention!!!!!!!!!!!
