    Nope. Not even close to true. The pythag doesn't count because it's a bunch of misfit toys or something there is also the fact that they are now 17-14 in their last 31. Plus, looking at the players you've got four solid to very good starting pitchers, lots of young talent in the pen and Rizzo, Castro and Valbuena in the lineup. Not exactly a collection of flaming garbage. It is a collection of flaming garbage; you can count on one mangled hand the number of everyday offensive starters you want sticking around for any extended period of time. Those few plus the pen and a couple starters makes it a collection of flaming garbage instead of a collection of flaming [expletive] bags. That's progress, but let's not go nuts yet.

    It's been a joy to watch him play. And Rizzo is Rizzoin'. Olt busted, but hey, Valbuena has stepped up, so I guess the minimum has been accomplished for me to have hope for 2015.

Buatista was still an OK player when he was in Pit and on the Jays before he blew up. 2006 (first year he got more than 100 ML PA's): .235/.335/.420 16 HR 2007: .254/.339/.414 15 HR 2008: .238/.313/.405 15 HR 2009: .235/.349/.408 13 HR Olt isn't even sniffing those numbers Sure he is...if you pretend those were Bautista's month to month OPS numbers.

    Kap is a dope but Hollandsworth should know better. He's a terrible human being. What the [expletive] is their [expletive] problem. This team is a collection of flaming garbage, yet they waste time complaining about one of the few good players who actually has a future with this team. Yet I'm sure they cried tears of sad boners when Bonifacio went down because he's fast.

    Lee's injury is easily the biggest woulda/coulda/shoulda with the Cubs for me in the past decade outside of Prior, especially if you look at 2009 as a glimpse at what he could have doing (or better) in 2006-2008.
