  1. Trade him for Stanton. DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT.
  2. I CAN ARGUE ANYTHING YOU'RE NOT THE BOSS OF ME
  3. OH GOD KAPLAN IS RIGHT HE'S LAZY AND BROWN.
  4. They did their taxes together.
  5. But with Olt isn't kind of a special case? His vision is all fucked up, and seemingly the only thing that helped were the drops that he had to stop or decided to stop using?
  6. None of those combos will happen. IMO.
  7. Come on, I'm trying real hard over here.
  8. Nope. Not even close to true. The pythag doesn't count because it's a bunch of misfit toys or something there is also the fact that they are now 17-14 in their last 31. Plus, looking at the players you've got four solid to very good starting pitchers, lots of young talent in the pen and Rizzo, Castro and Valbuena in the lineup. Not exactly a collection of flaming garbage. It is a collection of flaming garbage; you can count on one mangled hand the number of everyday offensive starters you want sticking around for any extended period of time. Those few plus the pen and a couple starters makes it a collection of flaming garbage instead of a collection of flaming [expletive] bags. That's progress, but let's not go nuts yet.
  9. It's been a joy to watch him play. And Rizzo is Rizzoin'. Olt busted, but hey, Valbuena has stepped up, so I guess the minimum has been accomplished for me to have hope for 2015.
  10. No, I am a man of my word; I appreciate Rizzo now. And I really, really, really wanted Olt to be good.
  11. Jose Bautista then? Buatista was still an OK player when he was in Pit and on the Jays before he blew up. 2006 (first year he got more than 100 ML PA's): .235/.335/.420 16 HR 2007: .254/.339/.414 15 HR 2008: .238/.313/.405 15 HR 2009: .235/.349/.408 13 HR Olt isn't even sniffing those numbers Sure he is...if you pretend those were Bautista's month to month OPS numbers.
  12. Kap is a dope but Hollandsworth should know better. He's a terrible human being. What the [expletive] is their [expletive] problem. This team is a collection of flaming garbage, yet they waste time complaining about one of the few good players who actually has a future with this team. Yet I'm sure they cried tears of sad boners when Bonifacio went down because he's fast.
  13. Rizzo, your whole family is laughing at you.
  14. Lee's injury is easily the biggest woulda/coulda/shoulda with the Cubs for me in the past decade outside of Prior, especially if you look at 2009 as a glimpse at what he could have doing (or better) in 2006-2008.
  15. Will Clark IS a horse [expletive], so that means rocket has about 500 horse [expletive] pics that he could unleash at any time.
  16. And especially given how much he loves the Fresh Prince.
  17. This is even worse than the horse [expletive] fiasco. you take that back. Tree, it's SSR running off with your sister-bad.
  18. It was only today that I discovered that Jeff Baez is an actual person and not just some nickname for Javier a la "Hank White."
  19. This is even worse than the horse [expletive] fiasco.
  20. Focus instead on how beast Castro's HR was.
  21. Someone in the comments said he actually referred to himself as "Will the Thrill" on his answering machine.
