Tangent? All I said was that the coverage I had heard of the incident mentioned nothing about intent, then I come here and everyone is talking about intent. There's a disconnect between how it's being covered and how it's being discussed. So what? That happens all the time. It's just ridiculous how easily you're swayed without even knowing what happened.

99% of the time, no. And if it was in doubt then the review is just part of the awesome excitement/tension of the moment, but otherwise it's almost always a formality and worrying about in any way is hilarious.

I love replay discussions because it reminds of the time Kyle said scoring reviews in football bother him because he doesn't know if he can celebrate a touchdown or not and it makes me laugh and laaaaaugh and laaaaaaaaaugh.

one of the greatest things about it is being able to watch some dude who cant run around in the field anymore continue to smash dingers I know, right? It ideally lets your team keep at least one beloved slugger well past when they could have if they were in the NL. That alone makes it awesome.

And I just want the DH to be added to the NL already; I grew up thinking the opposite, but I'd rather have it the same across the board, and there's zero chance the DH goes away. Plus the Cubs could have kept Aramis, dammit.
