"Robbed" is a bit much. Beasley is clearly the better player, but I think the thing that most set TH over Beasley is that he's a junior whereas MB is a freshman. Now you want to talk about "robbed" see NL MVP 2007. Giving someone an award because they are a junior as opposed to a freshman is an absolutely hideous impersonation of a joke. Beasley is a better player than Hansbrough and put up better numbers on a crappier team, and his reward for carrying a team that would've won 12 games without him to the NCAA tournament is to get passed up by a dude who tonight was the ringleader of his team's biggest weakness - interior defense. How many alley-oops did Kansas throw down tonight, and where was the national player of the year to do anything about them?
