  1. They'd have absolutely won in 06 with a good QB. They had incredible talent across the board that year. Good job, guys, now it's Delhomme and Feeley the rest of the year. Why even play the damn season?
  2. Half the teams don't play anybody until then. We'd basically end up with the preseason preview magazine polls restated, minus any team that gets upset.
  3. Also, the Pac-10 playing league games is inevitable due to its 9-game conference slate, and TT/Texas was moved to accommodate ABC.
  4. UNC dropped 5 spots for a road win over UConn. Oklahoma State is ranked ahead of a team it lost to last week. USC is somehow ranked behind two teams that have yet to play a competent football team. This is a very weird week in the polls.
  5. This week is a big week for Notre Dame. If they recover from a ridiculously tough loss, get their stuff together, play like the veterans they are, and pound MSU, things look a lot better. If not, things could unravel very, very quickly. As for Ball State, if they don't beat Army, they may not win a game.

  7. UNC dropping five spots for beating a decent UConn team by two on the road is a little weird too.
  8. McCown is injured. This franchise must have pissed the football gods off in some way.
  9. jesus christ. can one person or team I root for win this weekend? or at least not embarrass themselves, please?
  10. That would be Josh McCown.
  11. I'd say we were going to go 0-16 if there was any chance of Delhomme remaining the starter all year.
  12. hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha 5 turnovers today by Jake
  13. Jake Delhomme, ladies and gentlemen!
  14. Charles Johnson carted off the field! Yay! Go Panthers!
  15. Meh. We'll be back in if we win the next three (as we should, there's no excuse for losing any of them). By any objective measure USC should be #1 ranked.
  16. Looks like Cleveland and Brady Quinn will be my rooting interest of choice this year. Good signing to lock him up, Panthers. Dumbasses. 3 completions, 3 turnovers. Who could've seen that coming? Besides everyone?
  17. I really can't stand being a Notre Dame fan sometimes. BSU lost to New Hampshire, too. Nice hire to promote Parrish, guys. 0-3 with three embarrassing losses as coach (bowl blowout, North Texas, I-AA school).
  18. I don't know if I'd have gone for two with almost ten minutes left.
  19. Thanks for that spot, refs.
  20. oh my god.
  21. SNAP THE [expletive] BALL, NOTRE DAME
  22. Heh, that throw was so bad that Cissoko didn't expect it.
  23. That's the first flat-out drop I've ever seen from Golden Tate. Thanks for saving that for now, big guy.
  24. He's really very good. Not the best pocket passer but I'm guessing that'll come with time.
  25. It's on FSN/CSN, isn't it?
