  1. LOL at 'became available today'. What a douchebag.
  2. Hahahahahahaha what a scumbag move. It's such a blatant news dump that I almost admire it. PSU also will have full scholarships back next football season.
  3. The NCAA announced a few minutes ago that Penn State's postseason eligibility has been restored effective immediately.
  4. Next week might be worse. Something like half the current top 25 has a bye the week after this one.

  6. I've gone back and forth on Brian Kelly more than anyone I know, but kicking the [expletive] out of Michigan 31-0 to end the series should keep him in my good books for a long while.
  7. Ball State is puckering big time at Iowa right now.
  8. They're terrible Is it conceivable that they're worse than KU? I never knew it before but I really want to see Purdue face KU now.
  9. What I learn from channel-surfing each Saturday is that there are like 5 tolerable color guys in the whole of college football media. It's ridiculous.
  10. When the calendar hits September, they stop losing and everyone they need to lose starts losing.
  11. Not surprising as this game has all the looks of a shootout and you always want the points in one of those.
  12. I hoped that would be the case. Could that in any way influence staying with WGN? Or is it a done deal already? A lot of fringe fans around the country like myself will be cut out... just when the team is getting very watchable.WGN America is on record stating they're done with Chicago sports, which makes perfect sense since live sports is the only reason anyone still has cable or satellite.
  13. I remember that 13-game streak because I went to the Orioles series right after it where they promptly lost 2 out of 3.
  14. I'm planning on slapping a long-term keeper on him in my league this off-season, so it'd be nice if he'd hit a few more dongs between now and then to make me more confident about it.
  15. I think Oregon will probably squeak it out but I'd be surprised if it was a blowout (and if these teams played last year, I think MSU wins). MSU really impressed me late last season.
  16. They should be on a CSN alternate feed. 665-1 or something.

  18. I knew it was coming, but Baez' struggling is bumming me out. And yes, 'struggling' for a guy who was 2nd in the NL in HR in August is relative.
  19. This is the type of game that Florida State gets to avoid by not playing in a conference that's any good. There may be a Clemson that wins 9-10 games, but the rest of that conference is 7-5 dreck or worse so they don't get tested with any consistency. Yeah, I was kinda thinking the same thing. Last year they destroyed everyone they played before the NCG so it didn't matter much, but the ACC should make for a soft landing if they can get out of this one. Of course, selfishly I'm hoping ND can draw one of these less than perfect performances so they can have a shot.
  20. I hope I'm not jinxing it, but Florida State looks less than impressive so far. Oklahoma State very much in this thing. FSU just used their last timeout with 23 minutes left.
  21. Gurley is bat [expletive] insane.
  22. Everett Golson looks way better today than he ever did in 2012. 250 yards of offense and 4 TD in the first half, and he had 2 perfect deep balls dropped.
  23. Someone said on Twitter that they have 5 FBS wins to KU's 6 in that span. Ridiculous.
  24. Now Navy with terrible clock management. How come no coaches know how to use timeouts?
  25. Franklin just assumes dude is out of bounds and doesn't call timeout. You call the timeout first, THEN argue he was out of bounds. Good for Ficken, though.
