    Yeah, I think that if the Indians would happen to get into the playoffs we can make some noise. Well, I don't forsee a 3-and-out. It would be a dream come true to see the Sox collapse. In these last 16 games, the Indians get the Sox 6 times, and the Royals 7 times. :)

    I was there yesterday, typical no one in the upperdeck game. Even the 26K count is quite suspect. I stayed until the end, but Id say there were no more than 8K after the 6th inning. Tickets sold. Not people there.

    Well, Cliff Lee gets amazing run support again. He (better) will win his 16th tonight.

    If you sweep Oakland I think you'll wind up catching the Sox. Chicago has beaten us 10/13 this year. It would be a much closer race if we hadn't gotten dominated by them this year. However, we still have 6 with them, so maybe our luck with the Chisox can change.

    Cliff Lee is pitching today, we can take it back to 5 1/2. (Although I'm much more concerned with keeping our game and a half lead on the Yankees.) We have a HUGE series coming up with Oakland next. We can all but put them out of it with a sweep, or take a good lead with a series win.

    Jody Gerut isn't a loser. He needs ABs. He did pretty well in his rookie year, had some small injury problems last year, but wasn't doing all too horrible this year for the tribe.

    WHat futuristic TV are you watching? The game starts in about 3 minutes ... lmao Umm, I just saw it on the highlights during the halftime of the Iowa-Iowa St game. Heh, wait. That was North Carolina and Georgia Tech, hehe. Sorry. Well, as for that game, I could care less. :)

    I thougt Williams was going to be in the rotation regardless...Prior, Wood, Z, Maddux and Williams. I didn't think Williams' position was contingent on what Maddux does. Would prefer them signing Millwood. I would disagree. :D

    I hate these talks. Just let the people play, regarless of race. How many white males do you see playing the running back position in football? Not many. Let it go. The guy is talented, it seems rude make a big deal out of his race.

    Still rooting for the Indians. I'll root for Houston in the NL, just because I'm a huge Clemens fan. The man is amazing.

    Aren't those odds also updated based on how many people have made bets? Meaning the more people that put their money on Jones, the better his "odds" are according to Vegas? Yes. It is public opinion. It is based off of who the betting public thinks will win.

    If Clemens can somehow manage to convince his team to hit when he pitches and ends up with somewhere around 16-17 wins, I think they have to give it to him. I realize wins are a misleading stat, but unfortunately, they are a stat people look at a lot. Unless he falls apart, Clemens deserves it.
