Conidering the Yankees and Redsox play eachother the final 3 gayes, it is very unlikely. Right now the Indians and Yankees (up 6-0, so I'll give them the win) are 2 back of the Sox, and the Redsox are 2.5. Lets say the worst happens to the Sox and they get swept by the Tigers, and everyone else wins. That puts everyone 1 game up on the Sox. Going into the final series, someone has to lose at least 2 in the Yankees/Boston series, and even if the Sox get swept: The furthest the Sox can possibly end up behind is 2 games. And that's only if they completely collapse and everyone else does their job.
