  1. I hate that foul they just called on Aaron Gray. Every time a big man shows hard, any decent slasher just runs into him, throws his body backwards, and gets the call. Dwayne Wade is infamous for it, but LeBron and Kobe aren't far behind.
  2. lolol, what a sick dunk by Big Ben. I can't believe he has 8 first quarter points.
  3. Haha, his videos are such an awesome guilty pleasure.
  4. Entertaining the thought that a full season of DeRosa is more valuable than a half season (of less) of Bradley means we're overvaluing him? So everyone is basing it off of injury risk? I understand that you have to be concerned, especially with his history, but come on, Bradley is a hell of a player when healthy. Quit being typical glass half empty Cubs fans.
  5. I'm confused here. If you needed to lose the payroll to get Bradley, how was this a bad deal? You're losing DeRosa and getting Bradley. You don't seriously overvalue DeRosa that much, do you you?
  6. Is DeRosa at third in your lineup? I kinda thought he'd replace either Asdrubal or Peralta, but third might be a decent option as well. Third in the lineup? Or do you mean playing third base? Peralta played a lot of third last year, so I'm not sure how that will all work out. I meant third base, sorry. BR has Peralta with just nine games played in his career at third, with just one there last year. Wow. I could have sworn he took over for Casey Blake last year. I must be losing my mind. Marte played a decent amount, but for the life of me I can think who else could have played third.

  8. Man, they are pretty cute. Potentially the cutest top 2 in the history of baseball?
  9. With the addition of DeRo, the Indians now have the prettiest team in all of Baseball. We have officially gained the female fanbase. Could DeRo hit leadoff? I'd really like to see Sizemore moved down in the lineup. But, I doubt that will happen. So, this is the potential Indians' lineup for now: Sizemore DeRo Martinez Hafner Peralta Garko Choo Francisco Cabrera Although, the 3-4-5 spots could go any which way, and Choo could make a case for the three spot if he hits like he did at the end of last year. Can we have Zambrano too, please?
  10. Awesome, that will be my new signature for baseball season. :)
  11. The refs in Miami are making some pretty weak foul calls. And, I'm not saying there is a huge bias, because LeBron has gotten some ridiculous calls too. It must be a sickness when Dwayne Wade plays. [edit] I mean, seriously. These are some of the worst calls I've seen all year. The foul they just called on Miami was almost comical. Also, the Cavs are losing by 16 at the half. That makes it even more frustrating. :( 39 FTs in the first half for the two teams.
  12. .516 = NL Central Win% last year. By the way, thats .026 points better than the division that the Phillies played in (while the Phillies were 5.5 games worse than the Cubs last year). Oh, and let's not even talk about the NL West. The Phillies and Dodgers got hot at the right time. They played great baseball in October, and obviously the Dodgers were at the benefit of an amazing Manny Ramirez. However, trying to say that the Cubs are somehow down a peg from these "elite" teams of the National League is absolutely ridiculous. Yes, there is always something to be said for a championship, so credit has to be given to the Phillies. However, don't forget that these "lower tier" teams like the Astros and Cardinals would have won the NL West with the records that they had. Do changes need to be made? Sure. Do you need to fly off the deep end and create some huge gap in talent? No, probably not.
  13. Hey IMB, the Thunder are holding tough. By the way, your fans don't care much for calls that go against them, do they?
  14. I really glad the Cavs blew out the Nuggets. There are a couple of guys at work who are big Celtic fans (who live in Ohio, and never mentioned anything about the Celtics before they got the big 3), and I constantly hear that the Cavs "haven't played anyone." It gets annoying. :(
  15. I'm torn. :( I like Kerry, and I know we needed a closer, but that's a lot of money for the Indians to pay. Oh well, it should be an interesting year.
  16. They still wouldn't be that good. A coach can't make terrible players all-stars. OK, so, currently the Bulls have a better record than 13 other teams in the league. The players aren't terrible. Frustrating? Probably. And, a coach and a scheme makes a huge difference in basketball.
  17. Given, I'm coming into this blind, because I know nothing about the Bulls' coach. But, when Mike Brown came here, he made himself look like a fool time after time. He admitted that his offensive knowledge was lacking. He put LeBron in a lot of "hey, go do something awesome" situations. But, he learned. He got better. His offensive knowledge has increased probably 5-fold. Although, he did always have the defensive knowledge. Hopefully Del Negro has some specialty that he can hang his hat on.
  18. because he's pulling the classic "I'm better than you guys because you're emotionally invested in the game and I'm not so I'm going to make you look stupid by pointing it out" schtick I didn't intend it as if I am better. I apologize if it came off that way. I definitely get too far into Cleveland games, so I can relate. But, come on man. You can't defend it all. Haha. Some of the stuff said is so over-the-top that it is actually comical. But, congrats Bears. Although you let Colston beat up on my fantasy team, you did a decent job with Brees. I still stand a chance at winning this playoff game.
  19. Eh, yeah, it's probably trolling. But well deserved trolling. ;)
  20. yeah well lebron is going to leave cleveland soon so how about that I know! He's going to leave because he's the worst player in basketball. His bad play is only outmatched by the terrible coaching of Mike Brown. Oh, and let's not forget the absolutely ridiculous management of Danny Ferry. I hope all three of them die in a plane crash.
  21. you're free to leave at any time Aw, see. There's that aggressive thing. :(
  22. Game threads must be like getting drunk for you guys. You're way too aggressive and the next day you think back and remember how you over-reacted.
  23. Well, you see, it protects the A-gaps. I don't want to get too technical (lol because you're stupid), blah blah.
  24. We wont be able to judge the Cavs until they get to a tougher part of their schedule. But yeah, as for right now, they're just destroying every team they face.
