  1. Being a self proclaimed 'draft head,' I thought I would get a head start and create a thread where we can discuss the various mocks and draft positions. Once the season ends I'll throw up the official order and trades. This thread will track the discussion. http://walterfootball.com/draft2013.php So far I've seen the Bears mocked with a LB, DT, OL in the first round depending on the risers and fallers in the draft. I think its a must within the first 2 rounds we select an offensive lineman. Aside from that, with the impending free agency of Melton and Okoye plus the $8 million option year kicking in with Charles Tillman we're going to have some big decisions being made. As for the #1 pick, it looks like it'll go down between JAC and KC with Geno Smith and Matt Barkley being the first two selections.
  2. I'm watching the game the Texans had on Sunday. I noticed they're not afraid to run on third and long and there is a lot of empty WR sets. I'm not concerned about their offense. The Texans defense plays very fast and will probably dominate the line of scrimmage. Fitzpatrick routinely has more time to throw then Jay. I just can't see us sustaining drives and not turning the ball over. Our oline is atrocious. My prediction 17-10 Texans
  3. Soooo how many sacks does JJ Watt get on Sunday?
  4. I love the show, but god, callers make me cringe. Callers are far and away the worst part of talk radio. Well, they generally try to pick callers that make the radio hosts look smart. Depending on the radio hosts, that tends to be a low bar. Yeah, I don't doubt it. B&B really hate their callers. Also I'm pretty sure they kinda sorta don't like Zach Zaidman too...lol God the ESPN callers today were horrible.
  5. lol@ Shea getting poked by an o-linemen and flying 5 feet backwards.
  6. So did Hub Arkush
  7. Yeah....I think it's going to be up to Tice to create a solid "we're getting blown up and cutler has no time to throw" game plan to turn to when we get blown up and cutler has no time to throw. I would like to see some dump offs to Rodriguez and it was encouraging to see some screens today
  8. Houston scares me mainly due to their oline blowing holes in our defense and not allowing pressure.
  9. Great game. It went as I predicted score wise but I hate the lull in offense this team suffers. Something must be fixed.
  10. More losses for the Lakers plz. I would orgasm if they lose to Detroit
  11. The Bulls haven't beaten a team as good as last year's Hawks team since 1998. You're awful. Please go away.
  12. Uh oh. 200 page Brian Roberts trade thread incoming.....
  13. /eats popcorn
  14. Bears 31 Titans 10 Complete team performance and a few easy TDs including one by the defense.
  15. Chargers radio broadcast compares Weddle to Polamalu and says hes the best safety in the NFL, then says that Rivers antics are great because he never cusses.....
  16. Outstanding trade for the Pats
  17. http://www.footballoutsiders.com/quick-reads/2012/week-8-quick-reads Maybe we should come out running the ball in the 1st quarter? Nah, I'm still in favor of calling the play action passes on first down.
  18. More losses for the Lakers plz
  19. Not me. LA/CLE/Miami will get him.
  20. That's a good deal. I think we can land Love rather easily if/when he's a free agent.
  21. Luol Deng is still useless with that wrist I see...,
  22. Arguably the strengths of the team right now. Weird. That is unless the Bears land Clady or Jake Long before then. Still, a RT in the first wouldn't hurt. Well if Melton is re-signed we wouldn't go DT first. I think a young CB is a need though.
  23. The Bulls have about as much a chance at winning a championship as Boston or Dallas. Because it's none. yeah how the hell did boston and dallas make that list lol Because we were discussing repeat offenders of the Luxury Tax system. They both make that list and have won within the last 4-5 years.
  24. Boston, Dallas, Miami and LA will all be a 5th seed or better this year and I'm willing to bet my life savings that one of those teams wins the title. You can indeed buy your way to a championship if given the chance to do so.
  25. I love basketball but I am in no way excited about the Bulls. A long season of mediocracy awaits.
