  1. Everything that is wrong with our offense has reared it's head.
  2. Holy overgeneralizations' date=' Batman.[/quote] Your quote was 'The Bears offense is not horrible.' Yeah, and it still is; my response is based on you inexplicably thinking people called you crazy for talking about Love when EVERYONE has been talking about whether he stays or goes. Hell, our discussion about the Bears' offense was one of the few times I DIDN'T act like you were meatball and actually talked to you. And no, I don't think it's horrible. It's little more than a semantics argument, but to me a horrible offense is one that has to be overhauled. An offense that is set at QB, #1 WR, potentially #2 WR and at RB isn't horrible. They need serious help at the OL and at TE and I'd love to see an upgrade from Tice, but you're talking like the thing needs to be burnt down and rebuilt. Thanks for talking to me. You need to relax a little, as I think we're on the same page with the offense not being very good and we have a good QB WR combo regardless.
  3. Lol @ Kellen Davis with another big drop.
  4. Does anyone else cringe when watching Davis with the ball in his hands?
  5. This game is enough to make me think that we may, indeed, miss the playoffs. And yes, Lovie *should* be fired if we do miss the playoffs after starting 7-1. You can't feel too confident going against GB next week. People were acting like I was crazy with the Lovie talk and the 'offense is a joke' mantra. Holy overgeneralizations, Batman. 7. Yeah we probably can use another DE since Shea was a shitty pick.
  8. Looked like he tweaked his knee on an awkward tackle attempt
  9. Our Dline hasn't done much since we played the Texans. I feel our offense should be able to put more points on this team. Everyone was getting so excited about the DLine to start the year, until it was posted out that they were playing some of the statistically worse offensive lines in football. Whoops. The Dline has good rotational players but outside of Peppers and Melton there's no other 3 down player.
  10. Shitty play call IMO. This Bears offense is horrible.

  12. Our defense looks bad
  13. Lol@ the bears offense
  14. No, it's the organizations fault for having nobody after Marshall remotely reliable.
  15. The offense is devoid of talent outside of Marshall and Cutler. Jeffrey is developing and shouldn't be relied upon as a rookie and Forte has been banged up and not playing well. The defense has been so good that is has contributed in a large way to our offensive numbers. So when strictly analyzing our offense, the stats take a hit when eliminating the defensive scores. Our average field position is very good on top of it. Back to tomorrow's game, I think Jay will play well once again. He's been most impressive to me with his ability to play well despite the lack of pass catchers and pass blockers around him. I am worried about our defense and I feel this game will be close. 20-17 Bears
  16. How did I miss this gem? The Bears offense is not horrible? The 2010 Packers offense and defense were both ranked in the top 10 and their offense was 2nd in Total YPG, they had the fifth ranked passing offense. They were 8th in PPG. We currently have the 31st ranked passing offense and the 10th ranked rushing offense. (This is most surprising to me as Forte hasn't been very good). We are 30th in total yards and 13th in PPG including our defensive scores. How are those offensive numbers not horrible? Lets also consider that our offense is worse then last seasons after the addition of Marshall, Bush and Jeffrey. We gave Bennet a 4 year 18 mill extension (ranked 2nd in receiving yards on this team with 250 yards) The 2010 Packers had a very good team. I could be wrong but I swear there was a feeling that they underachieved to start the season. Lets not use them as a comparison.
  17. Noah was a monster tonight
  18. My point is (without looking at stats) both teams do not have much in common. They are quite different. The Bears offense is particularly horrible. And who the hell said they had anything in common other than wins vs good teams at this point? You said the bears couldn't beat good teams insinuating that they aren't good because of that. I said the world champs from 2 years ago couldn't either and your response was basically....yeah but they were good. To be clear I am not saying that the Bears are not good because they can't beat a .500 or better team. In my opinion they are not as good as their record indicates primarily because of their offense and inexperienced OC. The age of the defense and lack of depth across the roster was always a concern and it has manifested itself. You brought up the 2010 Packers to which I responded there's no comparison. The 2012 Bears are not the 2010 Packers

  20. If the draft went that way, I like Oday Aboushi more than Robey in the 2nd. I think Aboushi can stay at LT in the NFL. Dude is super athletic for a LT (unless that changed this year as I saw him a couple games last year and none this year). I think a guy to watch out for the Bears 1st round pick is Xavier Rhodes. Big fan of him and his skill set. I feel like the Bears have 2 draft scenarios. One they haul in a coup of nice FA Olinemen or another without and they rely on the draft. I think if you can get a good tackle in FA you go MLB or Eifert in the first round.
  21. Behold the almighty e-bully of NSBB!
  22. Mook meatball?   I won't stay on topic with you because that's a waste of time. Yeah the Bears beating one team over .500 and beating up bad teams isn't 'ironclad.'
  23. Thanks for contributing to the discussion!
  24. :D Could have said the same thing in 2010 about the Packers and only beating the Eagles in Week 1. They didn't beat another team with a winning record until Week 16 vs. the Giants and a half-assed Bears team in WEek 17. Excluding the fact that they were loaded with talent on both sides of the ball and Aaron Rodgers was god?
