    Except the Cubs are a much better team than the Bears. I disagree. We're gonna with the North, and with our DEF finally getting some rest with our offense getting better....it's gonna be a fun season. Past 3 years has been all defense and special teams. Add a good QB to the mix.

    I dont get it. Why cant the bears just sign Holt/Harrison or some other solid vet to mentor the youngins for one or two years? Why cant they put solid players on their roster with proven experience? Cheapass owners....

    Why does this mean Hendry is a failure? He didn't have to have Peavy, and when it came down to it, he likely didn't have the money to spend on him. Cmon, the entire offseason has been a failure. This ballclub did NOT improve in the offseason. We coulden't scratch out any runs in the playoffs for two years in a row. Jim Hendry is a giant failure.

    i remember one of his home runs in particular where he swung at a ball nearly over his head and connected for a tomahawk shot.....he's definitely a superhero.

    im just tired of watching the yankees on espn all day, and then watching 50% of their games televised ON ESPN... Baseball won't have a salary cap/floor because its good for the MLB if the Red Sox/Yanks buy all their talent and make the playoffs every year

    Our QB blows, our O-line stinks, we have ZERO monster recievers....this team is gonna suck for the next 2-3 years.

    I think our highly suspect offense will take a hit without Derosa.......so I personally don't care either way if we land Peavy. Obviously it would be nice, but we need our bats moreso with our current rotation.

    im just glad ive watched a total of 5 innings worth of cubs playoffs this year. I turn it off instantly when they give up a 4 or 5 spot.
