well, im never gonna pick ou in a bowl game again. this is embarrassing for them.

Speaking of that... http://www.kansascity.com/sports/columnists/jeffrey_flanagan/story/426727.html i saw that. as soon as i heard it was pat summerall and brian badinger i pretty much bashed my head through a wall. and they didnt disappoint during the game. i mean my gosh how can balldinger have a freakin job? hes abysmal. my favorite part was when he said that missouri "defensed" a play. defensed? wtf? are you serious? how about, gee i dont know, defended? and i dont care if defensed is actually a word. normal people say defended. if mizzou was losing that game i probably woulda lost my mind losing to those idiots.

im sure people have already mentioned this, but i absolutely hate the fact that fox gets to broadcast these games. the production, announcers, camera views, and lack of replays are just abysmal. these games should be on abc. i mean fox doesnt do one damn college football game all year long, and it definitely shows in the crap fest of a production they put on.

congrats to the rose bowl on picking the big 10-pac 10 matchup. you got exactly what you deserved: a blowout and probably a lot of changed channels very early. now for va-tech to destroy kansas and that will be that.

i cant decide who i want to win the georgia-hawaii game. on one hand, i cant stand the arrogance of the sec and its fans. i would love to see the sec lose most of their games. on the other hand, i kinda like georgia, and i just don't really like hawaii. undecided...

Mentally impaired. I think they said he has some kind of bone disease. I think they said he's 18. that was a cool story. cool to see him getting a lot of attention from the usc fans as well.

for being so highly thought of in recruiting out of high school, im less than impressed with usc's receivers.

Ohio State and Oklahoma should start ahead of them, especially if OU doesnt lose too many juniors to the draft.

Personally I think Holtz's speeches are one of the stupidest things ESPN does in a long, long line of stupid things. I was glad that he did ku's pregame speech against Mizzou. I really don't ever want that bumbling idiot ever associated with my school.

Are you really this dumb? If somebody answers "Oh Im going to University of Illinois", you seriously think that sounds correct? Wouldnt surprise me at all coming from a Mizzou student, but its wrong. And you of all people should know about blind homer-ism. Enjoy yourself. Im done with this thread, Ill stick to the BCS thread, while you enjoy your non BCS game. What? There's a difference between saying "Oh Im going to the University of Illinois" and "Oh Im going to U of I." You abbreviated U of I, and it sounds better when you dont put the in front. And yes, this is a stupid argument.

Mizzou is set at tight end and wanted him to move to defensive end, which he did not want to do. So he switched to Illinois where he will be a tight end.

I think a lot will have to do with what happens in the bowl games. If both win, I could see either a pick em or Illinois favored. If Mizzou wins and Illinois loses, I could see MU -4. Anyways, that's a long time away. Let's just hope Gameday comes to St. Louis.

And that's exactly what it is. A rumor. He provides no source, no evidence. Mizzou (I believe) returned tickets from its last 2 bowl games. They also had a terrible attendance showing at the Big XII championship game. KU sold both theirs out and asked for more. Past travel history has a lot to do with it. In the interest of full disclosure, that writer is a Mizzou grad, too. ???? We sold out our allotment in less than two hours and people who were there said we had about 15,000 fans there. For having a whole week to plan for a trip 14 hours away, thats not bad. Especially considering it woulda been a lot more if students didnt have so much to do in the next few weeks.
