  1. #2 schedule + #341 luck = much better than their record. Not top 35 like Pomeroy says, but I wouldn't want to face this team in the Big Ten Tourney. Pffft, Mizzou 30th. Yeah okay.
  2. I know these don't mean anything at all, but I could definitely get used to Mizzou being in the middle of this group of college football powers.
  3. There was a rumor floating around on a couple boards that LSU was interested in scheduling Mizzou for that spot. That would have been very interesting.
  4. In terms of rankings? All I know about ESPN is that they have decent writeups of all of the commits. More than I would have expected, actually. I meant in terms of quality, maybe even accuracy. Would I be correct in valuing Scout more than ESPN (and of course Rivals more than ESPN). I don't know anything about ESPN's new recruiting team, but they rated Clemson's class No. 2 in the nation when neither Scout nor Rivals had them in the top 10, so I'm going to ignore them for the time being. All the rankings are subjective and can't be judged until 3 or even 4 years down the line. That said, Clemson signed an impressive class. Maybe not #2 overall, but top 5 IMO. Eh, I think ESPN's sucks. They don't rate half the kids, and the ones they do are obviously biased towards the traditional power programs. I'd put Rivals as far and away the number one site, and then Scout, with ESPN a distant number three. But, that's just my opinion.
  5. Mizzou has a solid class, as Cubbies75 pointed out. Definitely the best on paper of the Pinkel era. Should only be even better next year, especially if we win 10+ games. Two of the top 5 or 6 players in next years class have already committed to Mizzou, and the rest of the top players in state really like Mizzou as well.
  6. How was that not a holding/ pass interference on that hail mary? Number 50 was all over Smith. Should have been some kinda penalty.
  7. They actually won a damn game. Shocking.
  8. today would have been a really great day to tailgate and go to a football game. saturdays are a waste without football.
  9. Mizzou gets outshot 50-15 at the free throw line. Martin Zeno shot 24 himself. Unbelievable.
  10. Well, it's early, but the Mizzou team that I've grown to hate for being awful at basketball is back tonight. Dear Mizzou basketball, Next time, just lose the game to Texas. It's a waste of everyone's time to actually win games. Because, in the end, the wins don't matter at all.
  11. Yeah. Geez, I think he would be dead already if he played in Anderson's system. Or he would have at least transferred by now.
  12. What the hell! I've been sleeping the last three hours (a little hung over) and when I woke up I fully expected to see the score say Texas by 20+! Damn the basketball team! Now I may have to go to some games.
  13. next season cant come soon enough.
  14. Mizzou hopefully will win 10 games again this year. Really no reason that they shouldn't. Unfortunately it'll be my first year after graduation, so I won't get to go to 10 games again next year. I really wanted to go to Austin for the Texas game. Oh well. Gah, this sucks, eight months until college football starts again.
  15. ahhhh, can't wait for Bo Pelini to take over for Nebraska. Hopefully he drives that program even further into the ground.
  16. I cant decide either. And Fox is awful too. I guess go Ohio State? I don't know. See if Ohio State wins you can say you guys beat the only team that beat Ohio State, so you are just as good as Ohio State.. :D hahaha I like that logic! I decided OSU. If they win, there should be no talk of kU being co-national champions. So I'm pulling for the Buckeyes.
  17. I cant decide either. And Fox is awful too. I guess go Ohio State? I don't know.
  18. eh, that was me on the poor tackling. again, ive only watched him against mizzou twice, and he probably missed a few tackles so that's where i got that from. usually notice the bigger plays over the fundamental plays anyways, like a missed tackle for a big gain rather than a couple of plays where he makes the tackle (if that sentence makes any sense at all). anyways congrats on the win.
  19. congrats to kansas i guess. they played a pretty good game. although in the end its nice knowing in the greatest season in ku's history Mizzou gave them their only loss. to that i say HAHA!
  20. wow this team blows. this is the best the acc could come up with?
  21. A lot of mock drafts have Talib going to the Packers in the late 1st round, so I'm interested in seeing how he performs. So far, so good. I can't understand the hype around him. He constantly gets burned and is a poor tackler, or at least he has been in the games against Mizzou. He takes a few gambles and gets picks like he did in this game, but I think he's way overrated, and I'm not just saying it because hes a jayhawk.
  22. hahaha there's the ku kicker we all know.
  23. Go Hokies!
  24. USC is better than OK, and we all know how well Mizzou fared against OK. No they arent. Opinion changed at all? Well, mine is. What the hell was that Oklahoma? I do, however, think OU was extremely jekyll and hyde this year. At times they looked great, and other times they looked like pure garbage. I guess that's the way things go sometimes, though.
  25. how in the hell did west virginia lose to pittsburgh? how?
