    the white sox fans in my dorm are getting really depressed right now.

    ahahhhahaha im enjoying this so much. i remember every saturday game that was on fox during the summer one sox fan in particular would send me messages about the cubs sucking and white sox being the greatest team ever. well, what goes around comes around. even if they dont blow the division, its still hilarious listening to sox fans call in on the score saying, "The season's over."

    I think you really have to live in the Chicago area to understand the true obnoxiousness that is the average Sox fan. you're probably right, and maybe my hometown is an outlier or something, but i don't think many people from chicago understand the true obnoxiousness that is the average Cardinal fan. OR MAYBE all fans are obnoxious to fans of rival teams. i read an a's website, and boy do they ever hate giants fans. I think we do. A lot of us Cubs fans from Chicago went to colleges downstate and were subjected to the "World's greatest fans." Hating obnoxious Red Birds fans is different than hating insecure, bitter Sox fans - but equally justifiable. Im with you Voice. Coming to Columbia, Missouri, I have to deal with their arrogance every single day. I've told them all that I can't wait for the season the Cardinals only win 65 games. Then again, I really am hoping the Indians take the division.

    wow, i know its still early but wrigley is empty, hopefully, but doubtfully fans will not pack the park full to the tune of 38000 every game.

    Well once again the Cubs find yet ANOTHER way to lose a game. Why cant they just have one year where everything goes there way (a full season, not where everything does up until the last two playoff games).

    i really wish the cubs took more of the approach of the boston red sox. i think they are my favorite team to watch hit; they fight off good strikes, dont swing at balls way out of the zone, and make pitchers pay for bad strikes.

    If true, I cant imagine how devastated I would be if i was an Astros fan. Its like if suddenly Derrek Lee tested positive. If that happened than I would have absolutely no faith in ANYBODY in baseball.
