  1. Yeah, it actually seems that half of their fans are more concerned with letting Cub fans know that we didnt win the world series, as opposed to celebrating that they did.
  2. Well, lets hope the offseason starts with Ozzie retiring, Konerko leaving for more money, and the talk of baseball goes back to the Cubs.
  3. THANK GOD. A week left of the white sox this, the white sox that, and finally everyone will forgot about what an craphole season this was.
  4. We are now all alone in with our franchise of retards. Goody. It feels to great to say we are now the ONLY [expletive] team left in sports. And dont give me any technicalities of how the Indians have never won.
  5. Just remember, God hates the Cubs, our wait won't be over for a long, long time.
  6. line drive off jenks arm right to crede please
  7. we can only hope that the sox dont catch every break imagineable this year and that the the breaks all travel north in 2006...
  8. Everyone take solace in the fact that they wont get to celebrate in Chicago. I know that's all I'm happy about right now. Oh, and the end of this season.
  9. Probably already posted, and forgive me if it was, but Ozzie is now upset that Dusty is not cheering for the Sox in this series. I can't honestly understand why he would be upset. Guillen went as far to say that he thought him and Dusty were friends. What an idiot.
  10. dammit i honestly am cheering for the white sox right now (i feel like i should be condemned to hell) i hope they dont get to win it in chicago.
  11. Everything aligned perfectly for them this year. I just pray to God that next everything aligns perfectly for us and other teams stars get injured and we catch every break imagineabl e and that we take advantage of every break.
  12. as much as i am hating this, its also kinda funny. i checked out whitesox.com to see what was happening at their site, and there were definitely fans of multiple teams saying that nobody besides them cares about this world series. it is kinda humorous to see a royals fan talking smack right about now. oh well, at least their dream season will be over and they will have nothing to look forward to in a few weeks. i personally am just happy the season from hell is finally about to end.
  13. come on, batman trained with ninjas in batman begins. clearly that makes batman superior to spiderman.
  14. I'm just wondering who you guys do want to be the Cubs next manager, assuming Baker is gone after this season? Also, were you guys for or against getting Dusty before the 2003 season? I'm just a little curious.
  15. id take pujols over arod. pujols can get it done in the clutch, while arod has proven he mostly cannot.
  16. hahhahahaha i hate the astros a lot, but this is really enjoyable, hopefully they dont blow this game. on a side note, i went to a cubs cards game at busch in april, the one where zambrano pitched 8 and 2/3 innings, and me and a cub friend were booing edmonds mercilessly. well one of our dorky friends got up, started clapping his hands like a little queer and started yelling, "The best centerfielder in the game!" well, right after he said that, Z struck him out on three pitches. then, zambrano drilled a ball towards center in which edmonds completely misjudged, and big Z got a triple. it was so glorious to see that moron prancing around like the little fairy he is.
  17. i think we clearly know that God hates the cubs, so i cant see their streak ending next year. it would be so typical because everyone is going to say, well now its the cubs turn. and its going to be even more typical when the cubs somehow make the playoffs and blow it again. i dont believe in destiny, and i believe less that the cubs will win in my lifetime (im 20 years old). on a side note, the white sox are on a freakin roll, same as the red sox were last year. i dont see them losing in the world series. it would be really really nice if the cubs could play like this just one year, where everything went their way, and they caught fire at the right time. i wish things were different...
  18. me: well this is great, now the f'in cubs are in their own world of retardness EamusCatuli: the only thing that would brighten up the situation is if i heard that todd hundley was killed in a car crash sorry if this offends anyone, my friend was not really serious about it (i hope) but i got a good kick out of this when i read it.
  19. i cant tell you how much this makes me hate the cubs. they beat us, and when they win the world series, i dont know how im gonna be able to cheer for the cubs around sox fans anymore. i really dont konw how much longer i can take being a cub fan anymore. this is so depressing.
  20. well i dont know if its the same for all white sox fans, but a sox fan on my floor definitely acknowledged that she is not as excited about the win as she usually would be. i commend her for that. even if it happened for the cubs (god forbid the cubs EVER get the breaks going their way) i too would probably feel a little empty about the win, knowing it was a bs call.
  21. I have no clue, I was wondering why Ozzie was wearing the jacket with gold arms instead of, oh I dont know, white?
  22. well thats a terrible start to the inning. lets see if ozzie has aj bunting here.
  23. would you let byrd go back for the seventh? he has been pitching well but the sox did just miss a few pitches last inning.
