  1. Can the offense please do the typical Mercker outting- he comes in to pitch, gives up the inherited runner, then gets the guys hes pitching to out.
  2. What an idiot. And Murton just can't get it by Arroyo today.
  3. Woulda been nice if they could have had a quick 1-2-3 inning last inning as well with our first class portion of the bullpen...
  4. HOLY CRAP!!!!! 1-2-3 inning!!!!!!!!!
  5. In other news, I love the new Sportscenter commercial with Steve the animal guy tackling Albert the Florida Gators mascot.
  6. Jacque Jones no doubt MVP of the Cubs through 1 and a half games.
  7. Just two opposite pitching performances today. One is throwing strikes early in the count and getting strikeouts, the other pitchers are consistently falling behind and thus, getting hit hard.
  8. Jones continues to impress.
  9. Just abysmal pitching the first couple games. My goodness can the Cubs pitching staff get a 1-2-3 inning or is that against the rules?
  10. I certainly would have liked to see Rusch gone a little longer. Very disappointing that in the Cubs first two games, the starters didnt even combine for 9 innings. And great, a homer by Griffey. Ugh.
  11. It's always great when you get back from class and see that Ramirez hits a two run homer in the first.
  12. I big time rescind a comment I made saying the Cavs were not that good. The way they're playing, I would not want to face them in the playoffs.
  13. I'd be happy with that outcome. Come on Cubs! Take the series.

I kinda want Foye with that second pick. Not sure if he'd last there, but I was impressed with him all season long. As far as the big man goes, Aldridge has the nice shot, but got pushed around a little bit in that LSU game. I wish the Bulls could get Oden, so hopefully the Knicks pull out yet another wonderful season next year so the Bulls get the number one two years in a row.

Noah. Morrison is really ugly, but if he shaved that goofy ass mustache he'd be just ugly. Noah is terrifying. This exact question was posed while I was watching the game with some people. One guy said Noah was worse(I agreed), the other guy was insistent that Morrison was worse. His reasoning is that Morrison has the potential to look reasonably good while Noah is just a monster. Therefore even though Noah is uglier, Morrison is relatively more ugly. hahaha I like your friends reasoning.

Ahhhahahaha the Knicks are so bad. I only wish this was the draft of LeBron, Melo, Wade, Bosh, ect. I like Hinrich, but I was so pumped up in that draft because I thought for sure Dwyane Wade was coming to Chicago. When the Heat picked him, I was pretty disappointed.
  17. I love listening to Ron and Pat broadcast games. If you're looking for in depth analysis of the game, then you're obviously not gonna get that from Ron. But I get a kick out of listening to them, and they make the games extremely enjoyable to listen to. Plus, I like that Ron wears his heart on his sleave. I like the fact that he gets even more over Cubs losses than I do.
  18. I don't think Kerry would waive his NTC to go to NYC. Agreed. And the Fish would have to be on crack to deal Cabrera and Willis. They might never recover. NY media seems to always think that players and teams are just waiting to facilitate the Yankees' wishes. And The Yanks have nothing the Marlins want, and certainly not nearly enough for Willis and Cabrera. There are probably a couple dozen teams who have more to offer. I couldn't agree more. I even know a few Yankee fans, and they act as if every player in baseball would rather play for the Yankees than all the other teams. I guess when you can afford every player in baseball and don't have to worry about money, that kind of attitude can grow.
  19. Yeah, come on Cubs! Take the two game series. When was the last time they did that? It seems like they win the opener then almost always drop the next one. Well, maybe just for the last four years anyways.
  20. I agree. I really wish he was healthy and pitching to his capabitilies. He's fun to watch when he's on.
  21. Agreed. That crowd was so jacked up when he hit that. I thought for sure the game was going to the Cubs after that. I'll never forget Len Kasper saying that Wood's home run was the loudest crowd he's ever heard. Now excuse me while I go puke for a moment. Uh, Kasper wasn't around back then. with the marlins. Yep.
