  1. I wanna know how many time's Pierre's grounded out to second base. It's like he has to meet a certain quota per game. I'm really getting sick of that weak little grounder to the second baseman.
  2. Murton's the best. I gotta post a picture of me in the photo thread, because many people I know say I look like him, without the red hair though.
  3. Come on Cubs, sweep! This would be a good first step to a 6-2 homestand.
  4. Cubs WIN! Get the sweep tomorrow boys. Nice job by Marshall and Murton today. White flag time!
  5. No, please go slow so I don't have to continue studying for my math test which is gonna be impossible.
  6. Please explain. Up 7-3, we line up for a field goal, kicker pooches it and does a terrible job, ball is going to land inside the 5 yard line and conceivably roll into the end zone for a touchback. Vasher, by all accounts a really nice guy, has a brain fart and makes a diving catch at the three. A play later a blitzing Roy Williams hits Chris Simms throwing arm, the ball flutters into Teddy Lehman's hands who strolls into the endzone for a TD, 14-3 OU. That play by Roy Williams is one of the best plays I've ever seen. It was just unbelievable.
  7. Great. Now gameday is gonna be behind because they don't know how to put a pickoff.
  8. Yes! I jokingingly thought it would be a great time after the pitch out. WTG Hairston!
  9. Matt Murton may be the greatest human being who's ever lived.
  10. They somehow would have made the greatest defensive play in the history of baseball. STRIKE THREE!!!
  11. Crap. I did not want to see Cabrera this inning. I still haven't forgiven him for that homer in game 7. What a jerk.
  12. Glad to see Willis having a down year hitting wise. Hopefully he starts hitting just in time for when the Marlins play the rest of the NL Central.
  13. That was a quick inning. Willis with only 62 pitches through 5 innings. Cubs need to get to that Marlins bullpen asap.
  14. Almost makes up for me ruining Marshall's no hitter. Almost. We'll let ya off if the Cubs can hang on for the win.
  15. Nice job Cubs. Hopefully the Cubs can add a run or two.
  16. Jones takes this first pitch! Yes, from downtown!
