  1. Yep. Now he just needs to get here. And Anthony Pierson would be nice too, although it's not looking too great.
  2. His defense is decent but it's easily outweighed by his horrible O and the fact that no one, especially Kobe types, has to expend any energy at guarding him. yeah they really need an upgrade there. and hey, whaddaya know, he hit one.
  3. what the hell is the point of keith bogans? defensively hes okay but offensively the the next time he hits a wide open three will be the first.
  4. do these refs realize theyre officiating a basketball game? what the hell kinda call is that?
  5. I like it. Where is the Iowa-Nebraska game next year? I hope the Hawkeyes destroy's NU every year.
  6. RIP Ronnie. Not great news to wake up to.
  7. tough tough tough loss for mizzou. they completely blew it at the end of the game. missed 3 of 4 free throws and stupidly fouled one of the g-town players with 14 seconds up 4. oh, and english decided to save the ball right to a georgetown player with about 6 seconds left which led to the "tying" three pointer. ugh.
  8. Except the PAC 10 team this year will be Washington. I'd gladly take th Insight against Iowa or Michigan.
  9. DAMN YOU TEXAS TECH. ugh if mizzou hadn't lost to a piss poor tech team, they wouldn't be in this situation. Stupid game.
  10. perhaps, but just because a player plays it in college doesnt mean he will be a worse pro because of it.
  11. how do you figure his shot at the nba dropping? just curious. Because Mike Anderson coaches a system, not players. And it's a system that is not used in the NBA. Self coaches defense first (real defense, not trap and hack), pick and roll, and high/low. All of which will have him better prepared to succeed in the NBA than running around with your hair on fire for 40 minutes. In the end, Ben will likely get to the NBA based on his own physical attributes. But how well he's prepared and how long he stays will be directly related to how he's coached in college. Just my opinion. pretty ignorant comment. what players exactly has bill self done such a great job with in the nba with his defense first philosophies? and what players has mike anderson coached that are worse off for playing for him? if youre good enough, the nba will take you, regardless of what system you play in.
  12. how do you figure his shot at the nba dropping? just curious.
  13. this is a huge, huge game for mizzou. frankly, i think its a must win.
  14. good lord, i want those guys to die. just awful. [expletive] tools.
  15. holy [expletive] i hate miami fans. theres not a less deserving bunch than those clowns.
  16. holy crap these arrogant mother [expletive]. i hope they fail so bad. i cant imagine how cleveland fans feel right now. man im now cheering big time for the celtics, magic, and lakers to beat these punk asses.
  17. well j.a. adande was reporting that sources said the bulls presentation essentially blew. so perhaps thats why theyre silent? idk. i gave up the bulls getting lebron a few days ago. man im sick of this drama. so glad it ends tomorrow.
  18. not to mention but going to miami is not a good move for lebron. yeah, hed win titles, but if hes all about going down as the best player in nba history, how does winning with d wade make sense? the best thing for lebrons legacy would be to win in cleveland, but who knows if thatll happen. im kinda pulling for him to just stay in cleveland now. at least stay away from new york and miami.
  19. i doubt anyone really believes that. but if they get a solid shooting guard, is it ridiculous to think they could win between 50-55 games (if the main player stay relatively healthy)?
  20. It might be true. Cleveland's roster is as good as it's going to get right now. Their cap situation is pretty grim over the next few years, so there's not much room for improvement. LeBron should know this, too. obviously there are no guarantees, but really, if he goes back to cleveland, winning won't be the primary reason, right? i mean, if he didnt have ties to cleveland, would they even be in the discussion anymore? that being said, i still think he resigns with the cavs.
  21. this is getting to be too much. how the hell am i supposed to not get my hopes up now? ugh, what if the bulls still strike out. i might stop watching the nba altogether.
  22. how the hell does that first point make any sense? What they're saying is that the total value LeBron will receive is tied to the legacy in that city. If he wins 5 titles in New York, the biggest market in the country, where no one has done anything near that before, then he's going to make bank. Conversely, if he wins 5 titles in Chicago, a smaller market where someone has already won 6 titles before, then he doesn't have as much brand strength. so basically they told him that hes not as good as michael jordan and wont be in the future?
  23. how the hell does that first point make any sense?
  24. I'm not really seeing that at all. Team by team breakdowns of the four factors and relevant takeaways. Cleveland is relevant based on the "hometown hero" concept. The study clearly is aimed not at trashing Cleveland (and offending LeBron), but taking out the rest of the competitors and looking better than Cleveland overall. Chicago and Miami bear the brunt, as Chicago is considered too volatile thanks to Jordan's shadow, and Miami is basically tossed aside as irrelevant. okay youre probably right, trash is probably not the word as much as specifically point out chicagos shortcomings. not really surprising, but kinda funny.
