  1. Well, after a smoke and a nice bikeride, the game is not as bad as it once was. Am I the first to compre Rich Hill to Steve Smyth?
  2. This is incredibly stupid baseball. It's contagious. It's disgusting. We're going to be in 4th place in the division, and people think we can manage to get to 1st place in the Wild card? HA. I'm going for a bike ride. Screw this crappy team.
  3. Way to help out the Mets defense Jeromy by ducking out of the way and not even sliding into the base, you FAT, LAZY SLOB.
  4. That was impressive. This park is huge.
  5. Thanks for that one Burnitz. I hate you.
  6. Carlos Beltran has a monstrous mole on the side of his head.
  7. FOR CHRISSAKES WOULD YOU LEARN HOW TO PLAY BASEBALL??? MY GOD WOW, A POPUP TO SHALLOW RIGHT AND OUR RIGHTFIELDER DOESN'T EVEN TOUCH IT. YOU GUYS SUCK.
  8. Nananananananananananananana batman! I mean.. LEADER!
  9. The starter of this thread is right. The Cubs are currently dead last in Poise Ounce Of Production, or POOP , at a miniscule .004. The Cardinals and White Sox are currently leading baseball in POOP, and Albert Pujols is far and away the hitter with the most POOP, and the Cardinal fans, known for being the best and having poise, are the most full of POOP.
  10. Wow, this game isn't a mismatch or anything. Excuse me if I don't get excited for this rotten bunch of lousy ballplayers. They're going to lose, lose, lose and continue to lose for as long as I'll live. Go out and have a fun time losing tomorrow, you lousy losers.
  11. Ugh. Wagner has one blown save all year. It was against the Cubs, however.
  12. Yawn. We can't even hit a mediocre reliever on his 3rd straight day of work.
  13. What a rollercoaster of a season for Baltimore, but they didn't honestly believe they were contenders, did they?
  14. This is probably Myers' last inning, since he's due up 3rd in the bottom half.
  15. Prior's ERA is now over 5 on the road. He's a completely different pitcher at Wrigley.
  16. Nice one Derrek and Todd! You sure knocked the crap out of those balls!
  17. Walker better make up for that lousy pop-up and failure to advance the runner earlier.
  18. Stupid pass the buck offense. I'm sick of it. Someone HAS TO COME UP WITH A BASEHIT EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE WITH RUNNERS ON BASE!! Ahh this team is maddening.
  19. BEFORE TODAY MARK HAS GIVEN UP 5 TOTAL RUNS IN THE FIRST INNING (3 WERE IN ONE GAME AGAINST STL) That's not consistently sucking. Well I guess I have selective memory. I still believe he was not prepared to start this game. Mark Prior doesn't just let five guys in a row reach base.
  20. Okay, I was wrong. If a pitcher with the talent of Mark Prior CONSISTENTLY starts a game by sucking and giving up tons of walks and homers, then he obviously isn't prepared to start a game. It's that lazy bums Rothschild's responsibility to get his pitchers warmed up. Does Prior even throw warm-up tosses? What does Larry do all morning???
  21. I wonder what Matt Lawton thinks of his new team.
  22. Thanks a lot Mark. Way to come out of the gate strong. You're just as pathetic as the rest of these bums on the roster. I'd rather have a bunch of lousy pitchers playing over their heads like they do in St. Louis than a #1 draft pick who can't ever seem to get a big win when we need it.
  23. Meh, Macias has been better than Hairston lately, or so it seems. Hairston doesn't get on base anymore, and Macias never has, but Macias hits occasionally. Plus it puts Walker back in the top of the lineup where he belongs.
  24. If a manager goes more than 100 games without leaving the dugout more than twice to argue a call on behalf of his players, he should be canned.
