    The rendering is an axonometric projection. Typically, they result in a distorted view because the scale of distant features are the same as those nearby. However, they are helpful because they illustrate more than one side in the same image. For such a high-profile project, this is a very old school, low tech rendering.

    He was fantastic in 2009 and was on his way to another great year in 2010. I would love him as an alternative to 7 years of Fielder (if that's what it's going to take).     Why anyone would want to watch baseball played under a roof is beyond me. And while we're at it, I hate artificial turf as well. Because we're fans of, you know, the sport and not the ambiance. Well, you and the other Vulcans may prefer a sterilized version of the game, but I would rather see it played outdoors whether I'm at the park or watching on TV.

    I'm not sure I understand your interpretation of what he said. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but I recall him saying something along the lines of already having the talent in place. That it was just a matter of getting them to produce. Sorry, I can't remember the exact quote. I think it was when he mentioned Dempster and Garza.

    Will the Sandberg talk ever cease? Was anyone else surprised to hear Sveum talk as if pitching shouldn't be a concern for this team? He said something along the lines of just getting the guys we have to pound the strike zone. It doesn't sound like he was very impressed with Mark Riggins. I just thought it was interesting since the talk around here has been that adding quality starting pitching is a necessity.

    During his intro, Theo said Sveum is comfortable in his own skin. That's certainly the impression I got while listening to him speak. He seemed less nervous than Theo and Jed. So, who are the coaches he will be meeting with? Who's still under contract?
