  1. Either Pisa visiting Philadelphia was never the plan, or Pisa may not be leaving Chicago without a contract. Hmm... Sounds good to me. I never minded Hunter but he always was the weak link in the LB corps. An upgrade would definitely be in order whether it be Roach or Pisa.
  2. After winning all those titles with no scoring in the front court, we Bulls fans have concluded skilled big men are for the birds. This must be true because you never see Bulls fans talking about trading for the Amare Stoudemire's or Chris Bosh's of the world. As for Blair, he rebounds. The Bulls are one of the very worst defensive rebounding teams in the league and rebounding translates better than just about any other skill set from college to the pros. He'll be a solid, unspectacular player for a long time. I don't think anyone is claiming he's a franchise player or is expecting one to be there at #16.
  3. Stupid Nuggets.
  4. We need Blair for the defensive glass, not offense. Bulls are one of better offensive rebounding teams in the league because of Jo. It's Tyrus' selling out on every block shot and general stupidity that makes them a poor defensive rebounding team. Blair would be a godsend at 16. I'd be surprised if he fell that far and wouldn't be at all opposed to jumping up to grab him. That's assuming no Bosh/Amare type deal of course.
  5. I'm a complete noob when it comes to hockey but shouldn't a defenseman be able to play defense better than he plays offense?
  6. Not a bad 3rd option for PF/C if you remove the fact that he's owed $10.4 million, $11.3 million, and $12.2 million for the next three years.
  7. Bavetta, Crawford, Javie, et. al. will be strategically deployed to make sure that doesn't happen.
  8. Well today has been a huge bust. It looked like a good day for couch lock but then the Cubs lose, Hawks lose, and the Lakers/Rockets game is completely boring.
  9. Olsen initiated Jay as an honorary 7th Flo Crew member.
  10. The (ESPN) hype for Brett Favre's return to Lambeau in a Vikings uniform would rival that of the Super Bowl.
  11. Got 25/30 on HR leaders. Missed the A's, Padres, Marlins (I thought for sure there was some glitch when Conine didn't work for the Marlins--didn't expect Mike Lowell), Tigers, and Blue Jays.
  12. This is pretty cool. I know nothing about hockey but am jumping belatedly on the Hawks bandwagon.
  13. 79 on nicknames. Missed Braddock, Bure, Verbeek, Crosby, and Forsberg.
  14. 72 on the first one. For some reason I remembered Providence and Seton Hall and forgot UConn. 71 on the second. I had no clue about Providence being the Friars and only vaguely remembered Vanderbilt being the Commodores after the fact. 106 on the pro sports so I guess I'm better with college--probably because I'm more used to looking at polls rather than standings of teams I don't care much about.
  15. Hoffman must be juicing. I haven't seen him 88 MPH that consistently in years.
  16. Garrett Atkins for 3rd? He's been a steep decline for the last two seasons but he should be good for .800+ OPS. He's a free agent aftre this season too.
