  1. Wow @ the halftime score for GU-Mizzou
  2. Soft team is soft.
  3. The Magic always own us.
  4. 3rd and 9, Bears trying to ice the game. Cutler floats a little pass over the middle to Forte, ball is in the air, and the LB has his hands all over Forte impeding his progress. It was blatant and an easy call but they didn't throw a flag. Cutler was pissed and started jawing at the refs, walked off the field, and apparently said one more thing for the 15 yard unsportsmanlike. It was a really, really terrible no call that gave Philly life.
  5. Unless Gruden really, really wants to go to college I can't see why he would lock himself into an arrangement with a college team now when he'll have NFL jobs to consider. Maybe he's fanatical about saving a recruiting class?
  6. He just needs to find a floor and keep the true stinkers where he single handedly loses games at bay. He's doing a much better job of that this year outside of the Washington game.
  7. Because I originally said that Sanchez was maybe (meaning not certainly) as good as Cutler. Why would you write an insanely long post when all you had to do was recognize that I said maybe? Everyone looked ahead to the part where I said in jest that that he was basically the same guy because Sanchez has a much better line and receiving core. I tried to defend the "maybe" by pointing out that Jay and Sanchez had very similar stats going into today. Everyone here (including me) gets their jollies by pointing out where others are wrong. But why completely overlook what I originally said where I poked fun at myself by saying they were basically the same. I did that because you guys missed something do obvious where I qualified my statement. But all I said was that maybe Sanchez is not too far behind because they have similar stats. The point is that there are 5-6 QBs in this league who can do exactly what Jay does in this offense even with a bad line and an average receiving core at best. Jay has his best game this year and all of the sudden no one else can do what Jay does. i've been saying that no one else can do what jay does, except for aaron rodgers and perhaps michael vick, for a while. i've given reasons for this. your continued hatred of cutler is baffling. you're the guy who last week said that cutler needs to be replaced and is the weak link on this team. remember how everyone laughed at you? was that humiliation enough? not at all, because this week, you've made several equally idiotic statements. Thinking Jay is the only one that can do this, or has done this, is pretty myopic. Other guys have done it. Rivers is doing it this year and while his line isn't as bad, his play is blowing Cutler's out of the water. Manning's offense has been a MASH unit as well. Roethlisberger won a damn Super Bowl with a line that was utterly terrible in pass protection. Aaron Rodgers put up numbers last year that are better than 99% of all seasons ever played by a QB with a terrible line.
  8. There are obviously guys that can do what Jay does with a bad line and average skill players. It's not just about mobility and other QBs that may lack it--a guy like Manning or Brees prevents the sack and pressure before the ball is even snapped and that's where their mastery is clearly superior to Cutler's at this point in time; it probably always will be. Guys don't play elite level QB for 8-10 seasons without having stretches where they're shifting to new, inexperienced personnel or just weak spots on the team in general. That's why they're good. And Sanchez isn't as good as Cutler. The talent around him is very good and he's got a scheme that allows him to be productive in a limited way. Of course it's basically hysterical internet posters that hate USC/New York/Rex Ryan that think an early entry QB like Sanchez is somehow behind the curve when he is very clearly ahead of it.
  9. Everyone's hurt. So are we, yet we haven't been making any excuses. I haven't exactly been ill informed of Green Bay's injury situation by the Packers fans that post here :-"
  10. The defensive line play has gotten a lot better too. We're constantly rotating I2, Peppers, Adams, Toeiana, Melton, and Tommie. 4 sacks and numerous pressures that would've brought down a non Vick quarterback plus a few batted/tipped balls. They were relentless when Vick was keeping plays alive too.
  11. I thought we ran the ball pretty damn well all things considered. The stretch type plays where we got the linemen pulling were effective. Some things got blown up because of missed assignments.
  12. Seriously though, Lovie has his flaws but there are not many coaches who generate a consistently high effort level like he does.
  13. 11.8 yards per attempt. that's efficiency right there. jay is the only qb that would have us in this position. I don't know, I think Peyton Manning would have the Bears in the same position, likely. no, he doesn't move well and in martz's system he has no ability to audible. Peyton plays in the Manning system no matter who the OC is.
  14. I can't think of one thing that Lovie does better than the average coach either. Getting the team to play hard.
  15. We would've cruised if we got that blatant DPI call instead of unsportsmanlike on Cutler.
  16. What is it with teams in green being dirty gutless cowards?
  17. What are these fucks whining about?
  18. Riley Cooper is like what you would name some frat douche in one of those straight to DVD American Pie movies.
