    If Jay leads us to an 11+ win season no one will (rightly) give a [expletive] about his passer rating. Christ, neckbeard is still ahead of Cutler and Matt Ryan on passer rating. It has it's uses but you've got to watch the games to get an idea of what's actually happening out there.

    My feeling on the Miller hit is that it'll be a fine after it's reviewed but I still think something like that is pretty much unavoidable. It was pretty [expletive] vicious though.

    If Jay and the offense can avoid disaster drives we can play with anyone. If we take a sack and get stuffed a few times, OK. It's when we start compounding errors by throwing picks and killing our own offensive series that we get into trouble. The thing is, with our D and special teams we can semi bail ourselves out. Our offensive line/dumb receivers will kill a drive, guaranteed twice a game, but if it doesn't turn into a pick 6 or kill a go ahead drive we can over come it.

    Less than 50 yards of offense for the Lions in the 2nd half.

    Lions will have a chance with less than 30 seconds or so if we don't get a first down.

    I couldn't tell because of my crappy stream but it sure looked like Suh put a forearm directly in the back of Cutler's helmet. Isn't that what happened?

    His leg has really developed some power. He's 5/7 from 50+ the last 2 years. He took it from Maynard and injected it into his own leg.

    And yeah, Jay's pocket presence was pretty bad there. He needs to step up.

    Maynard has been a lot better lately. I'll give him that.

    It'd be nice if our ST unit gave us a lift.

    If we have leaders on defense that'll get on guys and a staff that will make good adjustments, there's really no reason we shouldn't dominate the the Stanton-led offense. This is a 3rd string QB with less experience than Tyler Thigpen, less potent offensive weapons, and nothing to play for. We should clown these guys, FFS.

    Well at least the Lions were beating the Pats last week and proceeded to get their doors blown off in the 2nd half. Our offense isn't as good as NE's but our D is a lot better. We should be able to squeeze these guys...I hope.

    We only had one timeout at that point though. If that Best run were stopped for a short gain, like it should've been, then the Lions would've sat on the ball and gone into the locker room.

    The defense relaxed thinking the half was over after it looks like they had gotten their act together a bit. They still need to put the screws on these guys and I think they can. They need to be chewed out, badly, in the locker room.
