  1. He should be done for awhile.
  2. I don't follow UT all that closely but is the problem with Mack that he's not getting the top notch assistants any more? I always figured he was more of a Leader of Men figurehead than an Xs and Os guy.
  3. Yeah I don't want Caron. Not a good fit.
  4. I'm looking forward to you having to root for Chris Paul
  5. If Reid gets canned Mohrinweg could be an interesting OC candidate too.
  6. Leonard is a specimen
  7. Norv Turner will be available
  8. Even if he's not explosive that's ok as long as he can hit his outside shots and create once in awhile. When he was with Portland there were whispers that he dominated the ball too much, but I could see a less dynamic Roy settling into a sidekick role well. The problem is of course the concern that he will injure those knees again and be available when we truly need him. People with chronic knee problems tend to miss games fairly often. Let's hook Roy and TMac up with Kobe's Nazi blood doper and we'll be ready to rock
  9. Bears promoted LB Patrick Trahan from the practice squad to replace Brian Iwuh.
  10. Martz stupid/smart screen call is the reason Notre Dame is too low/high in the BCS.
  11. Cade McNown is Senior VP of Investor Development at Thompson National Properties you jerks
  12. P. Diddy's son chose UCLA over Illinois.
  13. The SG doesn't need to be a home run. He needs to be a viable 2nd-4th option depending on match ups who can guard, create a little, and shoot 3s. Roy is definitely intriguing.
  14. I'm really hoping KU can snag Leach. The guy who runs the KU rivals board says if UCLA wants Leach, he's theirs. If they don't, we have a shot. Sucks that so many solid programs are opening up this year, though. UCLA, ASU, Ole Miss, Illinois, and UNC all seem like more attractive coaching destinations than KU. If we're all pursuing the same guys, I have to figure KU will end up with its 4th or 5th option. Another guy I wouldn't mind taking a run at is June Jones. But I don't know how available he is. Leach definitely wants to go to UCLA. UCLA higher ups want nothing to do with his...oddness. I think UCLA will make an attempt at Chris Petersen, come up short, say they tried for a top tier candidate and get someone like Sumlin. And will be back at this spot in 4-5 years. Sumlin maybe isn't a top tier candidate but I don't see it as a continuation of any pattern. Fair enough. I don't think Sumlin will be able to hang with Oregon, USC and possibly Stanford, and will probably be lumped in the same level as Washington, Cal, Arizona and Arizona St. That said, I don't expect UCLA to end up with someone at Sumlin's level. ESPN says Neuheisel will be fired after the Oregon game. You've been hanging around these low-expectation having Illini fans too long.

  16. That's [expletive] hilarious. I'm surprised the official NFL website would title that video that provocatively though.
  17. That's placing a ton of emphasis on conference games, as in a regular season a team will play 52 conference games and 30 non conference. Weighing the season towards a high proportion of conference games is a way to cut down on travel when you consider that there will be more games scheduled per week.
  18. Kenny Albert just said "sweeps the leg" when describing Nick Novak's field goal motion edit: not kenny albert, whoever that pbp guy is for the Chargers/Denver game
  19. Oakland's D was all over the screen game
  20. Jesus, just [expletive] off Martz.
  21. niiiiiice go caleb
  22. There's immediate pressure up the middle on every dropback.
