  1. the unparalleled football genius sean mcvay is somehow losing this game
  2. sweat blew up the protection and stripped stafford
  3. the bar for replacing a coordinator midseason is not performance based its based on involvement in some murky sex crime
  4. i don't think we'll keep this INT
  5. incredible memories of that time but between signing boozer in the 2010 FA class and rose's injury everything that transpired was basically like a bottom 3% percentile outcome
  6. can't wait for zach to play well enough to build back some kind of trade market and we hold on to him because we're like the 7th seed 12 games into the season
  7. more of a comment on that its ok to get a 1st down on 2nd down and we're in a flukeish number of 3rd down situations
  8. https://x.com/robertmays/status/1837945706402697274
  9. the texture of this game was really pretty flukey, we ran 84 offensive plays which is a huge number for a non-OT game. we were 9-21 on 3rd downs. the next closest team this week had in terms of 3rd down conversion opportunities was 14. when the opposing team is going 3 and out a lot/ giving you the ball back early in drives, or when they do score scoring on chunk plays or off your own turnovers you're going to get a lot of pass attempts
  10. if this is true then the fan base pissing and moaning about it is a feature not a bug because it puts some pressure on management to find a bucket A guy
  11. then we should call plays using monkeys throwing darts at the playbook and reinvest the money saved on coaches into scouting
  12. Results—what other measure could I possibly use? It’s a bad NFL offense right now and the run game in particular would be historically awful if this performance were stretched over an entire season If you want to make the argument that most coaches are pretty interchangeable and it’s all about the jimmys and joes then I won’t necessarily disagree but then Shane should’ve advocated for different players
  13. how convenient for Shane and every coach in the nfl that has no culpability for the success or failure of the players they coach
  14. if this is true then he should call some non standard runs because his horsefeathers isn’t working
  15. losing to this version of anthony richardson should be a fireable offense they did us a favor by not putting Flacco in we would’ve lost by three touchdowns
  16. because most nfl coaches are morons apparently
  17. 363 yards passing surpasses mitch and fields single game career high, only 18 yards short of cutler's single game high as a bear lol
  18. watch those timeouts end up mattering
  19. that's an obvious go for 2 call and you have to burn a timeout
  20. we need a defender to just fall down or pull a hamstring only way i see us scoring a TD
  21. larger forces are at work too:
