    gotta root for the BB. I mean rooting for either a basehit or BB. Obviously, he would rather see Lilly issue a BB than a hit. I stand by what I said. And there it is. So hypothetically Lilly doesn't walk anyone. Would Ronny Cedeno rather have a basehit or a no-hiter with his error being the only thing that prevented it from being a perfect game? Non-sequitur: Does it count as a jinx if you misspell it?

    they still get two cracks at the mets' bullpen, which is completely capable of blowing a 2-run lead. plus it's just a bit ridiculous to say the wheels are falling off the brewers wagon after one (potential) loss, even as a joke just about as ridiculous as it gets around here when we lose I meant in terms of this game, but yes it was a bit of faux-overreaction too. Braun doubles to lead off the 8th.

    I don't think that was intentional. At all. No reason for the ump to go out there.

    It's kinda weird...they are the first team without a mathematical chance to win their division, but the Washington Nationals could be the first ones eliminated completely from playoff contention. Right now they stand 1 game from WC elimination, and 5 from NL East elimination (with both them and the Phils currently playing now) Seattle's number for the WC is 4. It'll be close to see who gets eliminated completely first. :lol:
