  1. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20080601&content_id=2813827&vkey=news_mlb&fext=.jsp Apologies if it's been posted already. It's not any easier to read just because he's not a Cub anymore.
  2. Nice crowd overreaction there on the flyball.
  3. 2 minutes if you include the first pitch homer he's going to hit. ;) Guess not.
  4. How many come from behind wins is that now? (Granted, the comeback happened early this time...)
  5. I think that homer ticked Marmol off. CUBS WIN AGAIN!
  6. I didn't even notice "Boyd" was calling the balls and strikes today. I guess that's a good thing. :D
  7. CSN just showed Glenallen Hill's rooftop homer....so awesome. :D
  8. Taveras is getting a nice workout today.
  9. Where did gameday have that called strike three?
  10. Indeed. That was the definition of "wind-blown"
  11. Nice....yeah, it's pretty much like that. :D Love Pat's call and Ron's neverending exuberance.
  12. Ah, I figured it out now. Seems it wasn't so simple, and I just got lucky without realizing it: Two tabs, one to MLB.com's multimedia page, and the other to the cubs' multimedia page (which is different): http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/mediacenter/index.jsp?c_id=chc. I was able to open the video from one and the audio from the other, presumably because they were from (sort of) different sites. And I'm using Firefox, FWIW. Might not work with IE, haven't tried.
  13. How did you do that? MLBTV subscription (includes Gameday Audio), two windows (one MLBTV, other audio), and a little manual pausing and restarting between both to get the timing synced up. :D I don't have any way to record it, but it's pretty cool.
  14. Posted this in the game thread, but I guess it's done for... Watching the MLBTV archive synced up to Pat and Ron's Gameday Audio call is pretty sweet. :D
  15. I'm watching the MLBTV archive synced up with Pat and Ron (haven't heard their call yet) through Gameday audio, and I have to say it's pretty sweet. Should be a great way to experience this. I've already watched the TV feed by itself 3 times. :D
  16. Hank homered? Geez, MLB TV's 2 batters behind now...
  17. 115. Oh wait, that's the speed off the bat...
  18. Either their second baseman is shifted greatly toward the bag or he has the greatest range ever. He didn't even have to move. The shift was right on the money.
