    Your report on Wilson seems in tune with about everything I've seen, which is great. I think he started slow last year too, hopefully he can turn it up a bit sooner. A top of the order speedster would be a very fun piece to add to the mix in a few years.

    I think its lip service, since it came out last year they wouldn't deal with us. Hell, Jed even basically agreed that its going to cost extra to make a deal in a case like this..... I guess its POSSIBLE now that we won the World Series already and a move like this couldn't be construed as the thing that gave their rivals that elusive first championship. But, I'd still bet theres a premium attached and we wouldn't do it.

    He's on horsefeathering fire. Longenhagen said today he's an interesting trade chip, as a guy that can play some 1B, catch as a fill in, and hit for an AL team. Doesn't sound like anything great, but he's probably got more individual value than Vogelbach did. If he can net us another Montgomery on his own, I'd be thrilled. More likely he's a second or third piece in a larger deal, but he's definitely one of the best things to happen in our minors so far this year.

    Tommy Birch just suggested Candelario for the 26th spot. He's usually got a good pulse on anything going on with Iowa. I hope it is him, he deserves a bit of ML time after his start.

    Javy and Rizzo banged up, Heyward unable to play, and the pen is used up again..... What kind of roster moves for tomorrow? Candelario up maybe? You'll have Pena and Rondon ready, some others can be used too, but Rosscup or Rollins gets called up, right?

    He is and he'll probably get a chance later this year, but he's really got to work on his control and show some improvement there, before he's given a chance probably.

    CW said the same things I've heard. Again, the bat may play somewhere. If anything, that's enough to put him in our top 25 or so, if he hits well in AA. Mekkes gave up a hit in 2 innings, striking out 4. Please move him up.

    His defense at C is supposedly VERY weak.

    What do you mean? He has to clear waivers in order to go back to AAA correct? I can't imagine someone wouldn't take a chance on him. Yeah, but not necessarily the first option. They can try to trade him first. I think the new CBA changed the whole process from 10 to 7 days. But, we've got a few days to trade him. There's obviously going to be lots of teams willing to put in a claim, should just be a matter of squeezing them for some semblance of a minor league guy.

    Looks like Seal Boy and Grimm are coming back up today. Assuming Anderson to DL and Zastryzny back down? With only 38 on the 40 man currently, I can see Pena heading back down too, with Rosscup or Rollins being added and brought up.

    I would have been really petty and not given him a ring. Peralta too. Probably some others as well. But, I'd have given Matusz one lol
