    I don't "think" that. We're GOING to go on that type of run. And it's going to be [expletive] awesome enjoying it with you guys. My personal pet peeve will be all the new Cubs fans and the ones who come back after sitting out these lean years.(not meaning newbies here, just in general fandom) For me, it's just like Theo said way back at the beginning-It'll mean more to us that stuck through the entire process. The days here where our minor league threads dwarfed our ML game threads. The constant rehashing of whether we took the right path or not.....Theres not a right or wrong answer in the end, but I have complete respect for those on the other side of where I was, because they stuck in as fans for the long haul. It's water under the bridge and #wearegood. Seriously, thank you [expletive]. #weirdassrant

    @jnorris427: Also, Willson Contreras is a bad man. Squared 99 from Reyes up the box. Also was popping 1.85 in infield. #Cubs I know Candelario went 3/4 yesterday. Other than that, I'll admit to not keeping up too well so far. Johnson pitched, but I literally saw zero tweets on him, so I'm assuming he didn't look good obviously.

    I'm not opposed to KB in CF next year on its own. But I definitely don't think I'd want him there if he's flanked by Schwarber/Soler. I just can't see that being solid enough altogether. How often did Schwarber/Soler play together in the OF? I can't imagine it happened THAT often. I guess we could make it work with a very solid defensive replacement/4th OF, like Jackson? On his own, how do we compare KB to Dexter in CF? If we're confident he can be that level(or better), then I guess I'd be OK with it? Grabbing Heyward, trading Soler for pitching, makes a bit of sense, in a scenario like this. It'd enable all of Addy/ Javy/ Starlin to start.... I think I'd just as soon just keep Dex and add FA pitching though. Keep all 3 of the MI guys and find time for everyone.

I'd prefer the Cubs to be the team that made the deal with the actual US Agency, instead of the DR trainers. But if the Giants don't have anything other than texts and emails from him, I can't imagine they've got much to stand on here.

    I don't think this looks great for the Cubs(chances of signing him), regarding EJM. He switched agents recently, that much is known. That said, I could easily see a secenario that has him hiring the new agent prior to the previous one has been officially let go. Then the agreements happening in that time frame. Don't get me wrong, my guess is the first agent would have certainly known he's gone. But all it'd likely take is a few missed signatures(intentionallyby the initial agent) and he'd still technically be the rightful agent. No idea if both contracts are signed or if there was consent on EJM's part to make an agreement at a certain dollar amount. Anyway, just a guess on my part. But it's definitely fucked up. And our best bet is for the initial agent to have been properly let go prior to getting his deal with San Fran.
