  1. Moving...inducing a LOT of weak contact and goofy swings. Me likes. Lets go O
  2. Which is on par with his offense...long past "phantom injury" and dawning of the pom poms for the season time. How many pitches was that inning extended because he can't move to block/keep ANYTHING in front of him that isn't flat out basic...?
  3. nice inning...no thanks to the worthless toad behind the dish.
  4. "CC and the run factory's" greatest hits lol
  5. Coghlan is unlikely to be gone by Monday. Coghlan hasn't been good this year, but has a larger body of work of being pretty productive, especially in a platoon role where he's hidden from LHP. He's not the best option ever to lead off today, but if it's not going to be Zobrist then your options are Heyward, Baez, Russell, and Ross, and none of them are terribly great OBP guys, especially against a RHP. Plus Coghlan is easily pinch hit for later so there's not a huge concern about him getting extra unwanted PA due to his order spot. It's not a perfect lineup choice, but it's a decision without a huge downside. Thanks TT, and I agree with all that...problem for me is it lies on the premise that CC had to play/start to begin with. His career splits at this point mean nothing to me...especially his first game back. Now get a big 2 out knock and SMTFU :) lol....kablooomer
  6. If that is the case, then what is the point of pissing off La Stella (a much better/more versatile player) weakening your roster/flexibility by sending him down...then COMPOUNDING it by not only starting CC but leading him off...? Honest question. Coghlan is unlikely to be gone by Monday. 8. Nice comeback that inning Jon RUNZ pls
  9. So do I, still wouldn't change the fact that it's a bad decision. Even the worst decisions work out now and again.
  10. It's absolutely ridiculous, and i'm no fan of La Stella...then to run his bum ass out there as a starter, leading of day 1 back...gtfoh And NO, I don't give to 2 shits what his "career #'s" against iwakuma may be.
  11. Where's the secondary lead there Ben..?
  12. Big Willy held onto a couple foul tips there as well...no?
  13. Contreras catching Chapman...Hold the fort kid.. Cmon fellas!
  14. Very nice job getting it done with less than your best Pedro.
  15. This is where we need Montgomery to be right for.
