  1. Haha that's awesome!
  2. @PFF_NateJahnke: Julius Peppers in 2 games against GB in 2013: PFF grade of +5.3, 3 sacks, 2 BP. In 14 other 2013 games: PFF grade of -9.7, 4 sacks, 1 BP.
  3. Very, very happy with this offseason. Can't wait til the draft.
  4. Fortunately these putzes are pretty deep in the minority. Yeah, the data is skewed. Since everyone else is vaccinated, it's pretty damn hard for them to catch anything, which leads them to believe that vaccinations aren't needed. It's not just mandatory vaccines: [expletive] people at my last job used to tell me they were afraid of catching the flu from the flu shot or worse, that it was going to give them some sort of deadly reaction. Sick people who don't know stats. /rant
  5. So, so happy that Theo & Co didn't go for Ryno.
  6. To be fair, it's technically true.
  7. The photographer's name is John Antonoff. He's contributing shots to the Boys of Spring blog. He took a similarly great pic of Javy's opposite field HR from yesterday. Some of the photos in his feed are... interesting.
  8. http://www.bleachernation.com/2014/03/06/sammy-sosa-when-is-he-coming-back-is-there-a-market-advantage/ PFTCommenter quoting bleacher nation anti-Sosa comment How is it ironic?
  9. Jesus. Putting on that kind of weight is not a good thing.
  10. Ugly, boring golf shirt.

  12. If I had to guess, they're asking a bunch of Cubs to say "you're watching Chicago Cubs baseball" or some [expletive] and are keeping them on file just in case. I get that, but he's not even worth the time. You say that now, but when we've sold off our entire OF by August 1, BJax will be one of the best-known starters.

  14. Why are you letting your woman decide what offers you field, bro? If anyone wants to bother me on vacation to offer me $52 million I encourage them to do so. Whoosh.

  16. what are they? Patxi's and Little Star ETA, haven't heard of Zachary's
  17. The Papa John's in my area is not bad at all. Pizza Hut is [expletive] terrible and if you can believe we don't even have a Dominos anywhere within 20 miles from where I live. Luckily there's a mom and pop pizza place a mile from me that serves quality [expletive]. there's some good pizza in tulsa, but nothing close to us. hilariously there is a "chicago-style" pizza place a couple miles away that i've yet to try I guarantee it's terrible. Every time I've had it outside of Chicago it's been a dried out mess San Francisco has 2 chicago-style pizza places that I think are better than some of the places based in Chicago.
  18. And they're more confident now based on what? They actually had a lawyer read the contract.
  19. Yay, another season filled with frivolous farewell gifts!
  20. As I saw on Twitter, I'm mostly rooting for Mike Sam to play Will.
  21. I agree with this, and then remember that Kerry Rhodes is still inexplicably out of work, and that was just over rumors. If GMs are in fact afraid of the media circus more than the locker room, this might get Rhodes a job.
  22. With the way news cycles work these days, I think people are really overestimating the amount of attention this would bring to a team. My guess is that it would be a big story when training camp started, and then people would move onto the next thing, especially considering that, since he's a mid-round pick, he won't be a major player on the team. I agree that it would die down over the course of the season, but it would be HUGE during training camp and the beginning of the season. I think he'd really have to be a good value pick for it to be worth it to a team.
  23. My sister went to Mizzou with Sam and said he was more or less out. Or rather, didn't try to hide anything. IMO, him being gay isn't really a distraction I'd be concerned about as a GM. The constant media onslaught that will take place, however, is a distraction.
