There are some complications that would need to be talked about if an agent's player is traded. I doubt its as simple as saying " He said he's good with being traded to the cubs so just do it if you can, if you need me give me a call." So yeah, i would either take it as the deal is done or the trade has been tabled for later. Also he checked out, not left for lunch. Still, fax machines take care of that stuff in a second. I'm sure all of the trades that come pouring in at the last second of the trading deadline don't require physically meeting with their agents, since some of those deals come to fruition in like 5 minutes.
