  1. jed made a cold play!
  2. have you considered, they're having a lot of conversations. you can't assume that anything gets across the finish line. you try to keep a lot of balls in the air.
  3. 2018 was a long time ago, Matt Carpenter was a 5 WAR player
  4. it's not quite the seeding i'd hoped for before the season, but with Howard at the helm we'll have a puncher's chance
  5. Phew Seems like a good sign that he would go out of his way to say this. did you expect them to say, "yeah this is it for short, enjoy your gruel :D "

  7. They imploded like they have all year in the 2nd half. It's an ongoing trend. Once they start imploding they cant stop. Just ask North Carolina, UCF, Seton Hall, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio State. There was like a 10 minute stretch in that collapse where they had more turnovers than shot attempts (all missed). And many of those turnovers were like dribbling off their foot, slipping and falling, passing to a cutting player that doesn't cut, etc. I mean for sure give Indiana credit, their season was on the brink and they responded but I do tend to feel like once the ball started rolling Michigan basically collapsed. I do think Devante Jones twisted his ankle right before the collapse and that played into it. He was regularly getting in the paint before that but couldn't do anything and had a couple of bad turnovers because he couldn't plant his foot correct. All I'm saying is that Phil Martelli coached Michigan team had literally 0 problems in the 2nd half of games. JH is back and whoops, 36-9 collapse. (this is the part I expect sneaky to torch me over lol) Take this with a huge grain of sand since I only watched maybe 5 MIchigan games this year. I think they will be a better team if Dickenson leaves. i think they might be less Jekyll & Hyde, force feeding the ball to him really seems to bog down the offense at times like there was better fluidity and pace in the Buckeyes game but also he dominated Sparty for example and has elite advanced stats Diabate's probably jumping to the pros too i suspect so the nature of the offense is sure to change significantly in that event
  8. my expectations for PCA are set to: Denard Span
  9. Don't know what happened today, looked very good for about 3/4 of the game, Indiana played good D but, quite a bit of the loss is on Michigan. Really did want the Illini playing an improving Michigan team thought they'd be a tougher match up than Indiana. Although I believe the Hoosiers are going to be a big challenge for the Illini tomorrow. They imploded like they have all year in the 2nd half. It's an ongoing trend. (this is the part I expect sneaky to torch me over lol) i had a work meeting so i missed everything after they cut our lead down to 8 but does seem you're crafting a little bit of a silly narrative
  10. i thought he was being literal at first and was actually trampled by a horse
  11. idk seems mutually exclusive, if they were to (likely) slash wages and Chelsea drops out of top 4 then you have to begrudgingly appreciate the subterfuge
  12. thinking about this freak who lost his entire mind after extending a single-digit 1st half lead
  13. what a fitting picture choice lol, Trent Giambrone
  14. this is the last dribble before a dunk https://twitter.com/HoustonRockets/status/1498857863355285505
  15. remarkable to me that Howard's always been so calm/patient towards his own players but is kind of an angry lunatic toward other coaches when Underwood/Izzo types are the inverse of that dynamic, maybe he needs a better release i guess
  16. Josh Sargent just scored a goal on a scorpion kick lmao edit: 25' later he skies over a defender with a header for a brace
  17. Stetson Bennett, Carson Beck, and Brock Vandagriff? is this that Key & Peele sketch but for white players
  18. lol this has to be at least 2 typos
  19. the 2pt decision was right, i just wish they'd been a little less obvious with the playcall, like GB was giving them Andrews single-coverage look as bait and the safety quickly (predictably) doubled on him which left the slot receiver blitheringly wide open in the back of the EZ which should've been first read imo
  20. it is a really laughable omission there though, it's not exactly novel to say most running QBs aren't elite pocket passers
  21. trying to think through possible ways this team can be salvaged after each new signing passes
