  1. But they got their man at coach It's gotta make you at least question if ownership should have remove Baalke from the situation, instead of allowing him to fire Harbaugh. i saw no problems with the way they handled that situation
  2. now let's spend some money!
  3. yeah i'd given his roster a quick perusal and that seems the best combination for him
  4. so Bryant seems to have a pretty decent arm at 3rd
  5. seemed more like one of those JJ Hardy safe throws
  6. Alcantara looks like Soler's kid out there
  7. Schwarber's a tough out, got kinda fooled on a 2-strike breaking pitch away and still able to foul it off
  8. Except for the relay. That was horrible. it was comically soft-tossed, like his only objective on the play was avoiding the slide
  9. Russell showing triple plus hands but then La Stella threw bloopiest replay throw i've ever seen
  10. walking Nori Aoki, nevermind he's out of my top 10 edit: nevermind, remembered it's Castillo catching...probably just bad framing
  11. random bitching about the grounds crew stuff from last year
  12. grand slam in first AB vs. MLB pitcher, ho hum
  13. yeah i'd just as soon give a vote to Eloy Jimenez, if we're going purely on massive upside
  14. Tigers fans [expletive] hated this guy, but that might have been in large part due to Leyland's misuse
  15. Sweet! What's the start time? 2:05 pm CT for both
  16. Tell me what on Earth you could need the processing speed of a supercomputer. The benefit is how quick data can be transmitted. There is simply no need for computing data that quickly unless you think we've got all our players armed with bluetooths to be told when to swing and at what trajectory. i think maybe you have no idea what you're talking about. the value of a box like this is that you can run your whole operation on them; i.e. store, manage, consume all of your data, run applications in parallel, as well as user access, etc. it's a huge task, and to be honest, 500k isn't really all that crazy of a spend for a super-specialized stack like this What's the benefit of it beyond near instantaneous processing speed? Who the [expletive] knows? We know nothing about it other than it is super expensive. You really think a bunch of guys that (I would presume) you believe to be fairly intelligent, thoughtful people just spent half a million on a computer simply because "it goes real fast?" they did spend $5M on a david ross
  17. i don't even know what i just watched...
