  1. And? When I posted, I wasn't sure of the others. But a friend of mine was listening to the game on the radio, & Ron said he struck out the other 3 at bats. =| AB - 4 R - 1 H - 1 2B - 0 3B -0 HR - 1 RBI - 1 AVG - .250
  2. By far the best answer..
  3. He'll strike out first. You gotta put the ball into play before a DP can be formed.
  4. It's a "tradition" I guess. An annoying one at that..
  5. You mean its not http://www.myhomecooking.net/apple-pie/apple-pie-2.jpg?
  6. Ongoing joke. Once Roast started the Game Threads saying that the team is awful, they started winning. Not wanting to mess with a good thing, he continued to do so, and others joined in. haha. Superstitious, eh? I was wondering the same thing. I'm used to treating them like the losers they are, but it was pretty weird not seeing anyone stick up for them.. I'll be sure to keep that tradition going.
  7. The homer was Corey's only hit..
  8. I wouldn't mind him being called up. But Dusty playing him.. Now there's a challenge in itself. & like its said, no bench-ing him.
  9. Sorry about that..
  10. I did that too. >_< They'll rot as long as Dusty is managing. Though that's stating the obvious.. I mean, seeing Murton do so well, I was tempted to call Atlanta & tell them we stole one of their rookies & he somehow made it to the lineup..
  11. They found him.. http://www.nbc5.com/sports/4718740/detail.html
  12. True, but Houston also replaced their manager at this time last year... :-k What a hope crushing statement. Its not like we'll be THAT lucky..
  13. 1. Hairston 2. Walker 3. Lee 4. Ramirez 5. Burnitz 6. Nomar 7. Murton 8. Barrett 9. [P] But I think Corey will be back before Nomar.. =\
  14. Since Ronnie is MIA- SWEEP THE BUCS, WOO.
  15. I just looked- Redman [4-8, 3.76] @ Prior.
  16. I don't think so. It's the Cubs- My guess would be more like 10-8 or so..
  17. "Where's my tip? WOO!" O_o
  18. Who would you root for if the World Series was between the Cards & the WhiteSox? Tough question for some, I know. Both teams hold one of the best records, as well as being rivals of the Cubs.. I think I'd choose the White Sox. Gosh knows Chicago needs to learn what its like to win.
  19. I heard somewhere- can't remember where- that they would probably get to Iowa thurday. I don't know if that's official or anything though.
  20. It's awesome of you to be taking time to do this, Eric. Thanks. What was your reaction to learn that you'd be starting your baseball career with the Chicago Cubs, & possibly someday down the road, with Corey? What's your favorite baseball, or if you don't have one, nonbaseball movie? Thanks again, & best of luck on your career!
  21. None of the pitchers on the NL did all that great other than Roger.. What was up with that? O_o I didn't care too much who started, but it was a little predictable since the lineup already pretty much consisted of CardnalCardnalCardnalCardnalCardnal..
  22. As a HUUUGE Corey fan, it's nice to see him finally say something. Hopefully he adjusts, & Iowa can turn those K's into H's, & we can see him in the near future.. =|
  23. I voted Lee, because since he's doing so well, people would want to see HIM. But I would effing LOVE to see Dempster do one. lmao.
  24. I'm not 100% positive on who I think, but I'm swaying a lot more to Joe.. The Jeter Grandslam made up my mind. It would have been different if I didn't have a yanks fan ragging on me about that, or even if it had been to someone like the Astros.. but Jeter's first grandslam? Ouch.
