  1. Just barely into the Crawford boxes. You people can call me pathetic all you want, but the field is just a nightmare! If your players can't pull a couple of Pettitte pitches into those boxes over the course of 6 innings, you've got little room to talk. True, but how many of Berkman's homers have been cheapies into the front of the Crawford boxes? Too damn many. I'm with indifferent. Fields like the Child-Designed Ballpark in Houston are stupid, and bad for the game. There should be minimum required dimensions for all new parks. I believe the min is 250, i know there is one. Although I think their ball park is dumb I think it should be admited.
  2. That may be larry walkers last at bat... ever
  3. Just barely into the Crawford boxes. You people can call me pathetic all you want, but the field is just a nightmare! let it go dude, we are playing in the same field. the cards look like crap. this is painful
  4. I like the new rules changes like getting rid of the tie. However, I've never been a hockey fan so in the end I still think it's pointless.
  5. A Sox fan at work today called the Cards the Buffalo Bills of the baseball world. Ouch!
  6. After writing this email I plan to go in to a catatonic state of depression.
  7. I've watched Ozzie during the year and I think he is terrible with the offensive moves however he's very good at handlng his pitching staff. Good at handling his pitching staff? As dominating as they were, letting the starters pitch all but 2/3 of an inning in 5 games is not smart management of a staff, especially when there is still plenty of baseball left. I meant through the reg season. However I actually don't really disagree with his tactic, things change in the playoff and you have to go for it. Lets face it in tight playoff games you have to stick with what's working. The starters will have a few extra days rest now that they have clinched.
  8. I liked you better when I thought you were a straight-up Cards guy. You mean hated me less? hah, really i am a straight-up Cards guy but because I live in Chicago they are my 2nd fav by defualt.

  10. =D> Well atleast things look good for my 2nd favorite team. :|
  11. well he did say that Edmonds should know better since he is a veteran and this is the freaking NLCS. The pitch wasn't even close to a strike, but Edmonds definitely did not need to call the ump whatever he called him. Edmonds let us down... thats the bottom line.
  12. You wanna know the worst of it? I have to go in to work after this because some bone heads I work with.
  13. nice bunt. why are we playing for the tie in away game anyway?
  14. that bee sound is really starting to piss me off
  15. no way was the 2nd pitch a strike you're right. You have my sympathy. Thanks, but we suck right now. I'm depressed. I was kidding. You get no sympathy from me. I'm sure that receiving false sympathy from a random Cubs fan on an Internet message board has ruined your day, and for that I apologize. You have my sympathy.
